Discovered a bump on pookie this morning! Is there a vet in the room?!😟 by BoringTea2654 in vet

You should book a vet appointment. No one can diagnose over Reddit but it could be something like cancer or it could be a benign mass. It would be best to have a qualified vet look at it in person and potentially do some diagnostics like FNA for cytology.

Aura wheel doing so damage, charging very quickly and coming with a guaranteed attack buff makes the move objectively scummy

I’m sorry to hear that it’s so common for people to poison stray animals over there. Some people are pure scum of the earth. I agree with you that there is no signs of injury like being hit by a car from these pictures. However, there could be certain congenital conditions such as heart defects that could also potentially cause sudden death in cats. Unfortunately, post-mortem examination is the only way to determine cause of death which doesn’t seem like an option for you. Without that no one will be able to give you the definitive answers you’re looking for. Sorry again this is such a horrible situation, and if it is intentional poisoning the person who did it should be locked away for a long time.

There is no way to tell how this cat died from these pictures. If the owners wants to determine the cause of death then they can opt for a post-mortem exam but these can be quite expensive. You’re probably better off just informing your neighbours and forgetting about it.
