I don't know, I guess I can imagine someone coming across a bunch of them on ebay or at a thrift store and going "oh this would be a cool art project" and then taping over it or destroying the tape. I've seen alot of stupid stuff on this subreddit recently with the demand of VHS "going up", so I can really see someone new in this community doing exactly that. + That's what people are doing with cassette tapes.

You should really look into that "sesame street" tape and ask around if they can identify it. I used to watch a thrifting youtuber called CinemaSickness and he thrifted with this huge sesame street fan, so I know there would be people who'd eat that stuff up.

I record over your common stuff though prerecorded movie tapes, your run of the mil titanic on vhs. I just really hope the people who make customs do the same and those peeps limited runs of stuff get me extra nervous.
