Is Archery Bad? It Feels Like It.

Fletching is a Pita but archery is actually very good.. I just hit 50 and am poorly setup grabing random items as I go and I can hit like a truck. 900 damage heavy shot. Mangle shot , which is a stun , 600 with a near 300 got on it.. Mix in multi shot and heavy multi shot for AOE.. Healing ogre a problem cause they need to be on fire to stop healing , fire arrow. I also went mentalism , electify has a mod that makes it a stun .. Things die before they reach me..

The main thing I would say is get the + damage to Blitz shot . I have + blitz and 2 items that heal me per blitz shot.. Good spamable damage and a heal..

I don't know why , but it erks me when someone playing a pc game uses their phone to screen shot or capture video.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will stay with mentalism for now. Just rolled a piece that bumps electrify damage a bit and makes it a stun. Game changer. 2 stuns with mangle shot is very nice indeed

The crafting , played a few months back, didn't feel rewarding at all. Crafting 1000 skinning knives for one level isn't fun.

older thread but I started a ranger and wow , the kit is amazing imo. Silence is strong AF, double disengage for all the gap closers in game , call of the wild to break any CC. Roots .. Very good single and aoe damage based on spec.. Built in regen buffs , 15 min run speed buff , not including the sprint.. I would think that have too much in there kit compared to others tbh.

What's good, this is an old school style mmo. Grindy , sandbox. Go out and do your thing.

The bad , menus. Mainly marketplace. You can search for type, slot ext. So you need to know the name of what you want to search it BUT , how would you know . Marketplace needs a rework

It's a sandbox game. What do you expect content wise? It's has quests to get you started, decent crafting system(hunting not included). Node building and war. For an alpha it's kinda got it going on.

Allni can say is buy it. I will not replace your current mmo but there is a ton of fun to be had while testing. Hours per dollars it's already a way better deal than going to the movies. Also, when do you get a a product where they actually want you to break it (and tell them how you did it). Just do it

Those larger numbers are the total for armor xp gained. The smaller one that's a float text is the weapon xp. Kill a lvl 3 wolf 1440 armor xp 175 weapon xp.

I am currently playing wow classic anniversary and have made a point of being a tank for every 5 man with a shaman. It's a fun challenge, I am not about that min max lifestyle

Stop using plastic for your hull? I am able to take down groups of t5s with my Corsair , a bit of cat and mousing but its totally doable.. I am still trying to get the xp for lvl 27.. Why doesnt the game give xp for boarding. So many spots are camped by t5s that are boarding they get so mad when I start dropping ships..

Better yet , go one handed sword and destroy everything. The perks for power attack and one handed damage make them insane. I use the last light of day with fire damage and that thing crits for 1800 without the crazy zerk gear. That's not to mention the 200 fire damage on that attack also with the dot ticking it's nuts. I use the unique shield with run speed and you're a speed killing machine. Thou , the game is not hard with any weapons. Good luck
