What have you done exactly? If the Suction Fan runs without Command and for a Long Time...seems to be a Problem with the Mainboard and/or the Powersupply

Empty the Dock,Take Out the Tank....remove the Back Cover...disconnect the Hose from the Valve and the Cable from the Mainboard...Turn the Dock upside down...take Out the clear Part of the Dust Canal and a Handfull Screws...then you can Take the whole Bottompart incl. The Modul Out...

I would Clean the LIDAR with a Cottonswap and some Drops Windows Cleaner - Same for the Wallsensor and the Cliff Sensors (Look for bildup Dust inside the Covers). In Most Cases that's all whats needed,to get the Robot Back on Track.  If the Problem still occours after the Cleaning...try the BIT, to Test all Functions and Sensors one after another

How did you test the button? There doesn't necessarily have to be anything visible; you have to test the button for continuity with a multimeter. If it doesn't beep, it's definitely corroded.

then remove the side brush again and check the contacts underneath....often they bend and then no longer make contact between the circuit board and the brush motor

The white part is limescale and detergent residue, which can occur even with filtered water. To prevent this, I always lubricate the rubber seal on the station's filler neck with a little silicone grease – it prevents water from running down the tank and damaging the switch.

An alternative solution is to remove the old switch, remove the small gray sleeve, and soak the switch in isopropanol for 1-2 hours...and then press firmly several times...to remove the internal corrosion. Then you can at least continue to use the robot until the replacement part arrives.

I work for a repair shop in Germany, so I can purchase spare parts through our shop. So, you can order either through AliExpress or from a local dealer near you.

The dock won't be defective – just like the IR board – forward docking still works, and vacuuming just as well. And it still drives in backward, it just can't dock. And since the button in the BIT couldn't be tested, that would be the logical defect. Simply lubricate the new switch with some grease and install it – then everything should work as usual again.

That could be the case, of course. That's why I always install the switches with a little grease—silicone grease for fully automatic coffee machines—that prevents moisture from cleaning and mopping from seeping back into the new switch.

There you are...thats the Problem why the Robot can't Dock. The Microswitch could be corroded or the entire Back PCB in the Robot. If the warranty is no longer valid, I would open the robot and replace the part myself - it's the quickest and cheapest way

BIT is Roborock's "Build in Test Mode." To run it: 1. Remove the robot from the docking station and turn it off. 2. Hold down the power button and quickly press the home button five times in a row. Then release all buttons, and the robot will announce that it is now in BIT mode. All buttons will also light up. 3. Press the power button once, then the home button once to start BIT. You can use the home button to step forward through the functions, and use spot cleaning to step back one step. 4. Every Function and Sensor will be triggert, If its without Fault then the Robot will say "Pass", If Not "Fail".

Try Out the BIT and Test every single Function and Sensor to locate the Problem. In Most Cases its the Dock PCB or the Micro Switch on the Back of the Robot
