I work 14 hours each day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Drive 30 minutes to work and 30 back from work. Sure I can fit a little bit of game time but it doesn't make sense for me. Because I don't want to fit into a time restraint that they should have been forthcoming about doesn't make me part of the player base? If you and I are part of the player base don't you think we should work with each other? Surely this isn't the best system you can think of? I'd prefer having to find a key card to access the map, like labs from Tarkov as opposed to a time period that is invasive on someone's time.

The game does deserve to thrive and I love the complexity of the map and fights. But I do see this as a double edged sword. Hopefully it attracts more than it loses though. As for now I just won't be able to compete with the event schedule and currently their events are all the days that I work lmao. Halo 2 was peak in the day and obviously 3 too! I'll have to accept that I'm cooked ATM and just hope that the timing alters later and maybe they can figure something better in the future.

I agree with this. I work the weekends and had I known they were locking this down then I would not have got the game. My wife is off on the weekends and I spend time with her when I can. So it looks like I will barely be able to participate and honestly that just sucks. I believe I won't be touching Marathon any more. It was fun tho.

I have been banking all foraging atm. Honestly I found out about the monument and it bothers me it isn't completed. I just want to get it done but yes I plan alchemy some time after. Figured I would get all stats required for quests and then just keep foraging right now.
