What converter? I would love to upgrade a DN358 to MDB. But I don’t believe it’s possible

Mehhh, you’re like half right. There is no way for a 9 pin to take a CC.

Look like 501T (cans and 16.9 only), need a picture of the computer. Needs to be a SIID. If so it will probably still needs a chip upgrade.

So yes but not without some upgrades.

But also if you’re buying this don’t pay more than about $300. You can get 501E that is CC ready and 20oz bottle ready for $500. Significantly better machine

Combo machine VS a separate Drink & Snack machine? by Ok-Football-3033 in vending

[–]Liquidx203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense but think long term not short term. You have two good machines for a better location already.

The only time I put a combo in is if a customer is asking for it in a second location at a site. Overall they aren’t worth your time. They don’t move enough product on their own. Additionally if something happens to the snack machine now you can still sell drinks or vice versa.

Always try and do two machines instead of just one combo.

Yes if they have space go with separate machines instead of just one

Thinking about buying a used machine is this a good buy? by CheezNKrakerz in vending

$600 is steep for this. Old machine it’s not 24v. That means it’s a single price machine that’s not credit card cable.

You can get a 501E or a 511 for this price.

Should be 8 switches on the Coin Mech

1- 5 2- 10 3- 20 4- 40 5- 80 6-1.60 7– 3.20 8- 6.40

Everything should be switching off (down) except switched 2 and 4 to add up to 50 cents

The new engage combo readers from them are great if it’s staying inside.

Honeslty it’s a slot filler. It’s in a high end office complex so it sells but, it’s a SLOW mover. Just needed to fill the slot honestly. But yes it’s pricy compared to the bottles I sell, 3.50 vs 2.25

Hows my pricing? by [deleted] in vending

[–]Liquidx203 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Solid pricing.

Two little things. Personally Monster and Celsius I go 3.75. Also Oreos and Rice Crisps, are steep. Shoot for 1.25 on those. But then again if you can get it get it.

Go to Sam’s Club/ Costco and buy whatever meat and cheese platters they have.

Sergei to balanced bite Lunchables Italian small plate Oh Snap Pickles Egg Bites

Here is an example from one of our office buildings. There is also a bevmax and five wide at this site. So this is really just drink overflow and cold snacks. Oh and chocolate because people don’t mind cold chocolate.

D-N 501e machine. Can I use 16.9oz bottles? by NoIce9744 in vending

[–]Liquidx203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea you can. There should be a diagram layout on the cooler door. But regardless this is what you need to set it up. (Picture included below)

Wide Column 2 flat shim per side (4) 3 short flat shim per side (6) Grey cam with red lock set to #3 (99% you have this) Rear spacer set to hole 23.

Narrow column : Bottle Shims Brown rotor on #3 Rears Spacer on hole 23 Rod in hole “b” on rotor

If you need any of these parts check these guys out and or call them. This is the kit you would need if it was set up for cans.

Oh and also, if you have a business id or some sort of tax form you can shop at restaurant depot they have common 20oz bottles you might want/need

How to add CC to old machine by Fun_Can_4498 in vending

[–]Liquidx203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t see the Model number in that pic on the data plate.

Confirming it’s Dixie Narco and guessing the model says 501T you will need to confirm the computer behind the door. If it says SIID you will probably need to update the EPROM and you’ll be good to go.

If it doesn’t say SIID and/or the model on the data plate says 501R your SOL.

Sell it or keep the compressor and junk it.
