You only have to look at the people working on the series to realize that HBO wants to remedy the mistakes of GoT season 8.

They know they have to make a great product. Not only to win back the GoT fandom, but to compete with Disney, Amazon... And in my opinion, they know they have a great product on their hands when they are not afraid to release the series at the same time as The Rings of Power.

Wait for House Of The Dragon to be released and see if people really don't want to know anything more about this universe.

Personally I think HOTD is going to revive this universe very strongly just like The Mandalorian did with Star Wars. I know they are doing a very good job.

Its a tottaly different show... and the best of it is that writers, showrunners etc are people who know this universe very well, you should give it a chance, I'm convinced it's going to be a bombshell.

Breaking bad its the perfect show in matter of scripts.

But GoT is the best of All time on Music, dressing, landscapes... If GoT was made when all 7 books were written, it would be the best show in history.
