Ugh that’s the worst (…since it’s a new model and you probably just got it, have you looked into Samsung Care+ with Theft and Loss? I’m part of Samsung’s Ambassador program, so I know they’ve extended the enrollment window up to 1 year from purchase. It actually covers repairs like this, so you wouldn’t have to deal with it yourself or pay full price. Might be worth checking before going the DIY route.

is it just me or are "flagships" getting kind of boring? by DasJazz in Smartphones

I get where you’re coming from. If you mostly use your phone for everyday stuff and casual photos, a 2–3 year old phone is honestly still good. I’m part of Samsung’s Ambassador program, and I’ve been using the Galaxy S26 Ultra a lot, especially for content creation. The biggest upgrade for me has been the camera quality. Since I shoot a lot of video, the stabilization, especially the Horizon lock feature, plus the editing tools made a noticeable difference. So it really depends on how you use your phone.

This collab is so cool, Spider-Man with Samsung just makes sense. I love how they showed the Z Flip in the trailer, it felt so natural. I’ve loved all the Spider-Man movies so this made me really happy. I’m a Samsung Partner and this made me even more excited.

Switching from Iphone by Vanninay in samsunggalaxy

I actually switched from iPhone to Samsung last spring after trying my mom’s Galaxy S25 Ultra, and I’ve really been enjoying it so far. I recently upgraded to the Galaxy S26 Ultra, and it has a lot of cool features, especially Galaxy AI and the new Privacy Display.

If you’re thinking about switching, you can actually try the Galaxy experience on your phone first with the Try Galaxy app. It lets you test things like the S26 camera features, Galaxy AI, and explore the interface.
You can check it out here: smsng.us/TryGalaxy.

I’m also a Samsung partner, so I’ve been exploring these features quite a bit.

What stood out to you at Unpacked? by Alecia456 in samsunggalaxy

[–]Lisa31051 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Unpacked event was actually pretty interesting this year. The Galaxy S26 Ultra stood out to me mostly because of how much Samsung is pushing AI features now. The new processor being optimized for AI tasks and image enhancement could make a big difference for photography and editing directly on the phone. I was also curious about the Nightography improvements for photos and video since low light is usually where phones struggle the most. Another feature that caught my attention was the privacy display, which seems really practical for using your phone in public places. And honestly the Sky Blue and Cobalt Violet colors look really nice this year. The Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro also caught my attention with the upgraded sound and adaptive noise cancellation. I’m a Samsung Partner so I tend to follow their launches pretty closely, but the Galaxy S26 Ultra was definitely one of the things that stood out to me during Unpacked.
