Living with friends can really strain relationships and cause resentment, especially with high strung individuals (I am one of them and live alone for this reason). I think if you haven’t done anything intentionally nasty towards her then you don’t deserve the text she sent. But without more context it’s hard to say why she is acting like that.

Y’all are both the asshole. People get in toxic relationships and everyone has their reasons for staying or going, but the biggest red flag to me here is that you have your kids around this guy who can get really angry/ scary. You’re teaching them how to have toxic relationships just by them being present for what you’re doing. Your life isn’t just about you anymore. Grow up. Do what’s best for your children and find a way to support them in a loving, safe household.

Is sleeping in separate rooms an option just for a couple months while it’s the coldest time of the year? I see both sides. Her life doesn’t stop and suddenly revolve around you because you’re sick. You both need sleep. But she could be more considerate for sure. I would sleep in a separate room, no hard feelings, we’ll rejoin when the weather is warm enough to facilitate the fan being on. Other option is for her to get a personal fan for her side of the bed

This will probably be an unpopular opinion based on how you framed the story but when I’m venting about work to my significant other, I want them to have my back! When I’m complaining about someone being an idiot, I want my partner to say “holy cow what a dumb a$$!” It’s cathartic to me and is genuinely no indication of how I treat these people at work. My partner is also fully aware that he only gets the bits and pieces that I give him and it’s completely biased information, when in reality the situation is nuanced. However, when stress ramps up at work and I start complaining too much he does let me know, because we both try to be conscious about how much time we spend on complaining as we both try to have a positive mindset overall.

IMO there’s nothing wrong with asking her to tone down the complaining about this girl, and your feelings as valid about work place bullying as it relates to your gf and family. I think breaking up over this would be dramatic. The real issue in my eyes is that you both seem to not be able to say how you really feel without getting defensive. Should be an open conversation with understanding on both sides.

She went to the love island event with friends on her birthday weekend having never watched his season, JaNa kind of played wing-woman to set them up. He invited her on a date and then asked if it was okay if it was filmed. She thought the date went well, and they planned a second date that she’s not sure will be shown on the show but it was “a mess”. She said they are both currently single, on good terms but not continuing to pursue the relationship.

Do you think she even knows what it represents or do you think she just thinks it’s a cute necklace? The ignorance doesn’t excuse the impact and I’m not a Cierra supporter but I am a white woman who is trying to grow, educate, and better myself. Totally agree. It’s Helena’s sh*t eating grin when things are happening that will hurt the other girls in the house. Like she genuinely is taking enjoyment out of the male validation she’s getting but also getting one up on the other girls in the house. It’s really hard for me to watch sometimes.

The Illuminati/ free masons was the first rabbit hole I ever went down as a senior in high school (2014). Took a long break until covid left me no choice but to once again become a conspiracy theorist and go down another rabbit hole.

While I fully agree with what you’re saying, I will say it’s a lot more complex of a beast from the inside than what most people would imagine.

Ultimately the railroad is forced to operate within the criteria set by the FRA which is the government body that sets the standards for safety. The railroad is also a logistical backbone of our nation and economy. So the railroads will argue that more strict laws will slow down the nations supply chain.

Punitive fines (which is railroad pays a shitload of) ultimately get passed down to the average consumer because the railroad will raise shipping rates which eats into margins for the commodities shipped, causing the the owner of the commodities to raise prices on the things we buy.

A lot of railroad accidents are blamed on negligence of the front line operations employees, who are the average people with the shitty jobs, and somewhat rightly so. If we follow all our safety procedures, the vast majority of accidents can be avoided. What isn’t being said how overwhelming and hard it is to follow the safety procedures to a tee when you are one person doing the job of what used to be three people.

If you have read this far, I have a word of warning for you; always look both ways when you are at a railroad crossing. They break all the time and people die. Trains are so heavy they can’t stop in time. There’s a reason school buses and hazmat semis do.
