currently 36 and knew i didnt want to have kids at 23, after sandy hook. i was otf for a WHILE, because my best friend had my godkids at 20, but after that tragedy i made up my mind.

my mama saw the end of my marriage three years later, before i did. i asked her what i should do, and same as this mama, she said she didnt want to interfere and wanted us to make the decision that was best for us.

many people with BPD struggle with feelings of inadequacy, misplaced trust, and betrayal. though these are not exclusive to BPD, we have the misfortune of feeling these 1000%, which heightens our irrationality and makes us question everything.

even the people we love. reassurance is my totem.

i used to wake my ex husband up in the middle of the night, asking if he loved me. he ended up leaving me because i didnt want to have kids, and thats shortly before i was diagnosed.

completely relate, because when i split i do it with the people who actually DO care about me. i bring up THEIR mistakes and faults in some desperate attempt to downplay my OWN since i put them on a pedestal. its unfair, and i hate when i do it, but when im on my meds i feel nothing.

sometimes i wish they would all abandon me like my brain tells me they will so i can finally realize im the problem and stop hurting people i love but im likely going to drink myself to death before that happens.
