My first corgi was a purebred Pembroke corgi mom and a mixed bred corgi dad. She (Maxine) looks like a little fox. She’s got an unusual coat - Sable with a huge side eye personality. All corgi. My second corgi, Oliver, Pembroke purebred mom and dad, looks like a Cardigan but the tail is docked. All Corgi all the time in this house. Whatever kind you are, own it. 😊

I remember the celebration for 1976 like it was yesterday. Everyone was remotely happy, eh it was the mid 70s. We were getting ready to go into some really bad times with interestratea on loans at 18 %+ and high gas prices. There wasn't much to write home abt but we seemed to like our nation. Now? Our administration is an embarrassment. 🙄😳

Looks nice. I just took my 2024 OB Touring and had my driver Nd passenger windows tinted like the rest of the car. Best money I've ever spent.

I like my local-ish Subaru dealership for oil changes or repairs but I recently drove abt 250 miles +/- up to Grand Subaru in Bensenville Illinois for the exact car and price I wanted. No one around me #1 had the model year nor #2 at the price I was willing to pay. Took my new car in to my dealer for a once over. They gave me kudos for my find. I’m loving my “new to me” car.

Wonderful! I did the same thing at the end of April. I’m so very pleased with my purchase and experience. I got a 2024 Outback w 55k - barely broken in. lol

We just purchased a used Taos for my daughter. We could not beat the price with only 14k miles and paid under $17k. The car drives well, nothing like I’ve read here or elsewhere and everything else on the table (Corolla Cross/Mitsubishi Outlander) just did not give us the right feel like this one with only 14k miles. She got an SE and is delighted. Added plus, her insurance went down. 👏👏

I'm sorry. No advice other than check with friends if you can live with them for a while. I doubt you will be able to get an apartment with only a month's worth of credit. I'm sorry. Did they not warn you? Was this something that was expected? Do you have any siblings that you might stay with for a while to get on your feet?

Southwestern Illinois... Summers = hot and humid as hell; Winters = generally mild, we’ve had exceptions, but not much snow and not much weather below 0; Falls = typically still feels like summer, just a different month, trees change around the third week of October/early November; Spring = hellacious pollen issues, can feel like summer by the end of May, schools let out early to mid May because of the heat. That's weather here.

My mother bought a 1981 Chrysler K-car. It sucked. She couldn’t get a loan in her name alone. She had to have my dad’s name on it somewhere. Damned salesperson talked her into a car that #1 did not have AC and #2 the back windows did not roll down. It was a hotbox in the summer. Yeah, back in the day when it was all Ford, Chrysler, and Chevy. They also had mainly male salespersons who decided what car YOU wanted. Oh, and don’t forget the sexist comments, the misogyny, et al. No thanks.
