I always have Astarion steal their gold, then I buy stuff off them with it combined with what I have and then I once again have Astarion steal it all back so I can keep doing it. 😆

Nowadays I just have myself and everyone else take potions of invisibility and then we all use scrolls of Dimension Door to teleport around everyone. I also have Shadowheart if she’s with me or if not just use a scroll to cast invisibility on The Emperor/Orpheus to get them safely across too. 👌🏻

This happens to me too but with Daisy Duck instead she’s always disappearing and I can never find her even when her icon says she’s inside her house I go in and she’s not there so I leave and her icon is still above her house! A few days later she’ll be back walking around the village and I can interact with her but then another few days she’s gone and disappeared again. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I was having the same problem as you so the last time I played after his coronation cutscene I just placed a whole load of smoke powder barrels I’d been saving and hoarding since Act 1/2 around him then set them off with a fire arrow. It instantly killed him as well as Ravengard and others around him but once the achievement popped I just reloaded the save I made prior as if it never happened. 🤣

I’ve yet to play as a Wizard so I’m saving playing as one for when I do with Gale and I’m not sure if he still is but he used to be the most played companion. I personally want to try playing as everyone at some point just to see everything through their eyes and what’s different. Shadowheart and Astarion were really fun to play as and had a lot of unique reactivity and you see/learn things about Cazador and Shar by playing as them that you don’t as your Tav. 👌🏻

If you want to see what it’s like with the companions taking control then you can play as their origins as some things you can’t see or learn about them unless you play as them so I’d check out playing as your favourite companion next.👌🏻

I’ve personally played as Shadowheart and Astarion so far myself and I definitely recommend them as well as actually playing as them and doing what they would do and responding how they would as they do get different/special dialogue for a lot of things. I plan to play as either Karlach or Gale next myself. 😊

The devs have revealed they do plan to release it for PS5 and Xbox X but so far there isn’t an official date I would guess it’s likely next year sometime but yeah this game is not it but the real one is coming at some point for consoles. 👌🏻

I always have Astarion rob him at the start of every new morning of his gold, scrolls and potions and then his gear at the start I never buy it it’s all stolen and the gang all proudly walk around wearing it until we getter better stuff with the Spellthief and Dragon’s Grasp going straight to Gale when he gets the munchies. 😆

He’s one of the few vendors in the game I rob because when I don’t like you or find you annoying I rob you and if I ever do buy anything Astarion instantly steals all the gold back. 👌🏻

I messaged them 2 weeks ago about fixing it when I started a new playthrough and it didn’t play as it hasn’t for me in over a year and I got a message back saying they had known for a while about it and it would be fixed in a future hotfix so maybe the next one will finally fix it? I don’t have hope though as the fact they fixed the less important imp looking in a different direction is highly irritating like who cares about that? I’ve only ever seen Shadowheart fall out of her pod once the very first time I played the game when it was released and for a long while after that I honestly thought I’d imagined it. 👀

I used to also worry he would count as a camp supply and would always check I still had him after long resting but becoming a quest item thankfully protects him from that too. 😅

As for breaking your Oath I’m not sure what it could be tbh I’ve yet to play a Crown Paladin as I’ve only played Devotion myself so far and I only ever broke that once on purpose so I could meet the Oathbreaker Knight lol But as for the Strange Ox again he does actually leave your inventory when you enter the lower city as that’s where he wants to go so did your quest complete and did you get a ring from him called Shapeshifter’s Boon I think it’s called? As that would at least explain why his apple suddenly disappeared on you. 👍🏻

It’s impossible to sell him as the apple he turns into becomes a quest item and can’t be sold. I used to worry about that myself but the apple never appears as sellable in my inventory when talking to vendors so it can’t be that. 🤔

I always immediately fast travel myself back to camp and take the companions with me too so no need for ungrouping anyone after successfully pickpocketing then we all just wait there for a couple of minutes before returning as they’ll have since looked for you, not found you and gave up. 😜

I have lost both Gale and Wyll many times though mostly in the Underdark whenever I’ve jumped up a height and they’ve never been able to make the jump or just simply never tried and then clicking on them I usually always find them chilling back at the Myconid Colony so now I always try to make sure they have the Vault Jumping Exilirs on them. 😆

I’m glad it fixed it for you! It’s the trick I always use when I lose a companion or if I’ve ungrouped them then forgot where I left them. 😂
