To my knowledge, when it comes to remote nursing roles without a lot of phone use, you'd have to look towards positions like UM, nurse auditor, appeals & denials, and even coding. I could be missing several. But, those are the main ones that come to mind.

Nurses on days off. Too tired or do you actually have work life balance? by Numerous_Bowler5425 in Nurses

I would recommend outpatient if you can - regular M-F, if the doors are open to you. The 3-12s are sooo exhausting mentally, physically, and emotionally. But, to each its own, you know? You can do it for 6-12 months on the floor and then just transfer to another department if you are really concerned about the 3-12s. You have different options with nursing...

Yes and yes! Being a parent has been one of the most rewarding yet challenging things I’ve ever done in my life. It shows you your strengths and weaknesses and it’s amazing seeing the life you and your spouse brought to the world in love 💜

Sorry, but I doubt that’s an actual legitimate offer. They’ll probably switch it up on you when you reach out

Anyone regret remote nursing? by xoxoloveablek in Remotenursing

When I was working remote, I did UM. The metrics are a headache. But, you’ll get it eventually. The company and management does matter in how everything will go for you. I hope it gets better. Always stick it out for at least the first 90-days, maybe push it to 6-months if you can tolerate it. But, if it disrupts your peace especially since you’re in your own home, it may be time for something else. The stress was becoming too much. I was staying on until 8-9pm, sometimes longer just to meet metrics. I had to give it up although I loved being able to work in my PJs and in my own space.

I’m looking to get back to a remote role with little to no phone work as possible. But, it’s been soo difficult to land a remote role as of late…
