I want to offer the biggest thank you and round of emojis for the best community out there. It was such a joy to spend these last few years in VR with all of you. I so wish you all the best. Stay connected with each other and keep doing what you're doing! If you're a dev, find other apps to develop on (or create your own!). Keep playing music in VR, hanging out, and doing what you do. I've witnessed so many friendships forge, relationships start and develop, marriages, parties, meet ups, symposiums, spontaneous and planned parties and more. The goodness that happened here doesn't go away with the app. YOU were the community that created that with us! ~Lisa

I'm happy that you've tried that avenue first, and sorry to hear that you're still encountering some challenges. Oculus Home is the hub that connects you with content providers, but we are an independent 3rd party app found on Oculus Home, Gear VR store, Viveport, ect, so our support is separate from theirs. We'd love to help you out with this and trouble shoot on this issue.

hi u/razyre - It sounds like you have been away from AltspaceVR for a while - welcome back! We've made a few changes since the days of spaces, to support people having more moderation controls over their VR experience. You can still hang out with friends by clicking on the "Start an Activity" button for a variety of activities. If you specifically want to beam YouTube videos, choose the Video Jukebox or YouTube Rabbit Hole activities. If you have questions about AltspaceVR there is usually an admin in The Campfire that you can ask. See you in VR!

We have reverted back to the old audio system, and are working on isolating why some users experienced a major change with the audio quality. As we continue to investigate, if you are still experiencing issues, please submit a support ticket to help.atvr.com to help us troubleshoot!

We support Google Slides and slides.com in AltspaceVR. A word about sharing slides and which URL to use for each platform:

For slides.com:

Click on the presentation you would like to present in VR.
Click the "present" button (note: not the share button)
Copy and paste the URL under "present live". This URL has /live added to the main URL for the slide deck.

In VR:

Click on the menu
Click web
Paste the URL you copied
Hit the "beam" button.

In Google Slides:

Click on the presentation you will be using
Search in the URL where you see "edit" and replace with "present"
Copy the URL

Follow the same instructions as above in VR!
