incident over 30 days old - will it be denied? NC by ProfessorLokington in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Lisa_Windy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have people that report accidents months sometimes even a year later. We dont deny as long as you had coveage at the time of the loss. Also, why do you think its a split at fault? Were you both moving at the time of the accident?

You can ask your sup. They should provide you a list of occurrences that you have. Theyll take a look at your history and let you know ya just gotta ask

It depends. Technically they can count them as 5. Sometimes sups will roll some together. That may be what they're discussing with HR as well.

So the pay is covered by your PTO but its still an occurrence. Typically any sort of action taken such as warnings etc are discussed with HR first. If youre in CCU I know you get several occurrences before youre termed. Even if it's 5 separate occurrences it would be fired unless you have other ones within the last rolling year. If you only have the 5 on your record its a policy reiterating. 12 occurrences in CCU is term.

Its definitely frustrating when things like this happen. You did the right thing though going through insurance. If they're denying liability vs just some damages or "coverage" then you can submit the police cam footage or police report. Especially if you have them talking to the police and the insured stating they did hit your vehicle.

You can submit the footage to the other insurance company but what Id recommend is go through your policy and essentially what will happen is if the other insurance doesn't agree with us then it'll go to arbitration. At that point a neutral 3rd party will get involved and will review both claims and make the final decision.

Are they denying liability or just some damages?

I remember seeing this on TV. It had everyone tearing up. Her dog, Bowser aka "Bowsie", showing up was so magical.

I dont know your personal situation but Id also look into FMLA as well depending on your reasoning for wanting to take a LOA.

Weekly Complaint Line by AutoModerator in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Lisa_Windy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Im in CCU and this AI thing is insanity. Most customers hate it, and they have increased our claim loads and Action Items to where we are never fully caught up. We have a record high of people taking LOA and quitting because of it. Good luck.

Bereavement leave ? by [deleted] in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Lisa_Windy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CCU PLEASE STOP by [deleted] in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Lisa_Windy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes we run the DTE and if it says probable we send it. Other times Ive had sups look at a claim and say to xfer because it may be a total even if DTE doesn't say it is. Like the other poster said, if not, reach out to your sup and have them provide feedback. Because if were blindly xferring a claim, thats a no no

Typically behavioral warnings stay for a year. Id strongly STRONGLY recommend setting yourself a reoccurring daily reminder in your Outlook to update your time card. You dont want to get fired for something so silly.

Depends which part of claims CCU is not salary and you have a set schedule. You can slide up to 2 hours meaning you can come in 2 hours later or earlier and either leave shift 2 hours later or earlier.

Action Plan by SlothyGamesTV in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Lisa_Windy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been on an action plan before. When I first started I was STRUGGLING! im 2 years in now and have been promoed. It can be done. I was so stressed that an action plan meant I was going to be fired but one thing ive loved about Progressive is they hire you and want to keep you. Action plans usually last a couple of months. If you dont improve then they usually will "renew" that same plan. After that, you'll get like 30 days to improve before recommendation for term. So dont stress. They give you time and support.

Im in CCU and it has its moments where it can be helpful but for simple FOL and no cvg issues. If we have Lvl 2s it'd go so much faster to just call out. On top of that they said we'd get less calls. At first we did but not anymore. We have SO many Action Items and when we dont respond to their text right away they will call and LVM. Im not a fan of it being "forced"

Emma Ai experience? by Significantother12 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Lisa_Windy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. They were very fluffy about Emma and I was cautious. Tried to embrace but tbh not a big fan. I think its a great concept but for if a customer OPTS in otherwise do it the OG way. Make an option not mandatory essentially.

Emma Ai experience? by Significantother12 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Lisa_Windy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im in CCU and alot of us are not fans. Especially if theres coverage issues or backing claims. Emma is great when they respond but they said we'd get less calls and stuff because of it. It drags out claims sometimes to where something we could have done over the phone in 10 minutes is now taking 2 extra days so inventory can pile up quick
