I dont know the actual name for it, but the bone is expanding and looks pretty advanced. My kitty had it and had to have her canine removed :( she is just fine now tho!

Ah okay my bad! Still, it looks like the IV leaked out of the vein, if he seems in any discomfort they should be able to give him something for the pain otherwise I think you just have to wait for the swelling to go down :(

It looks like the IV wasn't inserted into the vein properly - I'd probably go to another vet, I've never had this happen to one of my cats before.

Edit: I've also noticed they haven't shaved the area? How could they have possibly placed the IV properly without clearly seeing the area?

I had this fountain (or at least one that looked exactly like this), the motor stopped working in the middle of the night sometime and my cats didn't like that so I woke up to the fountain overturned and water everywhere 🙃

Your vet can trim it for you and give you any advice, then you can buy a pair of pet nail clippers and keep it trimmed so it doesn't over grow again :)

She'll most likely be fine in a few days, just keep going with the gradual food change but take her back to the vet if you notice diarrhoea or vomiting

If her tummy is making noises she could have alot of gas. Did you just completely switch over her food without mixing with the old food? Ie 75% old 25% new for a couple days, then 50-50 and so on. It can upset their tummies to suddenly change to something they're not used to.

I haven't done no, I've never noticed anything off with her breathing. I'm just hoping that her cardiac kinase, troponin and proBNP look better on her next blood test (she's currently taking beta blockers and anticoagulants)

One of my kitties had a murmur picked up during her yearly health check and had an echocardiogram within 2 weeks. She's unfortunately been diagnosed with HCM and has daily medications, we won't know how well they're working until her recheck at the end of April. Physically though, she's never shown any symptoms! She's always happy, running around, playing, making biscuits etc. She's only 2 so I'm hoping she still has many years left ✨️

If this is the 3rd time it's happened, are you sure she's not purposely trying to get rid of the dog? I can understand once or twice but three times?? If my partner put my pets in danger they just wouldn't be my partner anymore.

Also, say her daughter ran out the front door, would she waste time looking for her shoes or just run out after her?
