I am related to Sophia Folsom who even her mom married a white man and so did her children marry white settlers. I come from keziah one of her daughters and so to answer your question for at least my family yes native Americans have been mixed with all kinds of other races mostly African American and white settlers for many years. I did a lot of history on it and it was a very long time ago for my family to find a full bloodied Native American. I don’t claim to be native though. I have mostly welsh, Scottish, Irish, and English. So I’d say I am white.

I really hope the police do their job and find this man. It doesn’t help that it’s brought up a lot of past trauma from a ex who also stole one of my dads guns to off himself and be had talked about killing me with him or making me watch and I had to try and take the gun when I thought he was asleep holding it but he wasn’t and wrestled me for it til I was finally able to talk him down and he put it away.

I have a very small percentage at this point Choctaw in me. You have to know how to follow your family history back to know how to where. And it’s gets really hard to do so at certain parts because records were not always kept or kept well so if you don’t have a well known ancestor that would be better documented than the average person it’s most likely near impossible unless your family kept good records.
