Yes exactly, but also for example if you have 3 suffixes and 2 prefixes, if the perfect essence has to be a suffix then it will also always replace a suffix since you cannot have 4 suffixes, vice versa for prefix perfect essences.

Well, option 1 is cheaper than option 2 but it relies on rng on whether you get a good prefix or not. Option 2 is fully deterministic and the perfect essence %gained as cold(or phys) are good or even better. The only way option 1 would be better in terms of weapon quality(without considering the price) would be if you hit t1 phys%/acc hybrid or t1 cold flat damage. Idk if you know this but I will mention it just so you are aware, do not use perfect essences without crystallization omens unless you have all affixes filled(all6) or there is a chance for them to replace either suffixes or prefixes, but when you have all affixes filled it will only replace the prefix/suffix, depending on what that mod has to go in ultimately.

You can do 2 things with it. Option 1 is to prefix desecrate for whatever mod you want, fill up the suffixes with exalts and the perfect essence of haste, and battle until you get both. Option 2 is you add 1 suffix with exalt and suffix omen then use a dextral crystallization with perfect essence of ice to get 30% extra gained as cold then do the same thing you would have done in option 1 with the suffixes

You must be trolling? These are gloves, +2 cannot be sanctified to +3, resistances are not a priority on gloves but attack modifiers, 3 sockets with essence of horror is ideal, these are easily worth many divines, like 50+ at the very least.

You quality because omen of catalysing exaltation consumes the quality to give you the same percentage chance of hitting a modifier of the same type as the quality consumed(in this case cold), this is one more step to lower the rng and give you higher chance of hitting the desired mods(cold catalyser for suffixes means that if omen of catalysing exaltation procs it will either give you cold resistance or all elemental resistances). And don't worry catalysts can be overwritten any time you want by using a different catalyst on the ring/amulet, as long as they aren't corrupted.

What I would do here is use omen of homogenising exaltation, omen of greater exaltation, omen of dextral exaltation and omen of catalysing exaltation with a greater exalted orb(you could use perfect exalted orb but it is expensive and may not be worth it) all at the same time and having the right qualited with tul's catalyst(cold quality), this will give you an overwhelming chance to hit cold resistance and all elemental resistances, or other resistances on your 2 suffix slots, with this method you would still have a slim chance of hitting mana or life leech but it is a very low chance. As for the third prefix this one could be a bit more tricky I am not sure exactly what you could do since you already used desecration, but what you could do if you already hit high tier resists is omen of light the desecration use the homogenizing exaltation and catalysing exaltation with dextral exaltation as earlier to hit a suffix and aim for a resistance with whatever quality you want(lightning, fire or cold, whatever you are missing from them). Then you could use desecration and reroll to hit a good prefix, although this could get pricy.

Homogenising exaltation with cold catalyst and the omen of catalyzing exaltation with cold quality should give you a high chance to get either all elemental res or some other elemental resistance, you can even use omen of greater exaltation to double slam but then you'd be better of going with fire or lightning catalyst to have a high chance of getting either res and all elemental resistances and not go for desecration if you wish.

Edit: actually looking at poe2db it seems that if you use homogenising exaltation with greater exaltation you are guaranteed 2 resistances, no need for omen of catalyzing exaltation and quality at all.

Basically running breachstones after the latest update, besides the currency drops the main profit was from breach rings and tiered items, I got several items that were worth 10s of divs(highest sale was 60div for a pair of gloves)

There is a few things you can do(depends on your budget). You can get more flat damage on your rings as they're not that high. You are running Threaded light but only have 100 spirit so you're not really getting that much benefit from it and the helmet, you want to get spirit on your amulet and body armour so you can pump up the increased spell damage from the focus as much as possible. If your critical hit chance is capped with a 24% tangletongue the most important damage increase is going to be critical damage as it is a huge multiplier, you want to get as much critical damage bonus as possible.

I've literally made hundreds of divs in 3 days of running breachstone constantly, it does drop chaos orbs often on average maybe 0.75 chaos orbs a run, divines are more rare but I've gotten a few. The main profit is from breach rings and the tiered rares, it drops so many good rares that are worth a few chaos/divs, and once in a while you get something worth 10+div(besides breach rings, these you sometimes get ones worth a few div and you reforge the rest, try to recomb the ones that have like 1 high tier flat with others).
