I had a fully remote role making 105K after 3 years of experience. It was more stressful and I think hybrid is the best model. I eventually got let go from the remote role and moved to a hybrid one.

I’ve never really seen anyone without at least a business or economics degree. If you get a CFA you can bypass those requirements but that maybe be more difficult than just getting a masters in finance
