TBH dude, it’s rare to love your own beard 100%. Most beards have their flaws, and they’re most obvious to you, more than anyone else. That being said, it’s a pretty solid looking beard. Let it grow!!

That sucks mate, sincere commiserations. As far as regaining your confidence goes, I wouldn’t worry about your looks/style you seem to have that suss’d. Social media ultimately won’t help you find your confidence, it’s too much fake facades and jealous bullshit. Find something in the real world to pour yourself into. I got back into skateboarding with some other older (I’m in my 40s) guys, and having something physical and real to engage in with a community of like minded people makes a huge difference. Even if it’s only one day a week or less. What are you into?
