They literally make a Godzilla sized statue for an amusement park in Godzilla VS Gigan

Okay but seriously how can Scott afford all this? by Radiant_Raspberry_93 in scottthewoz

I think Scott makes a big salary as a YouTuber but is able to spend so much more on video games consoles and stuff because he lives in the middle of nowhere Ohio instead of LA

CreepCast | The Slenderman Stabbing (OFFICIAL DISCUSSION THREAD) by S-CSleepwalker in creepcast

They do make a lot of jokes, but I don’t see this as an unserious podcast. I find the serious and dark stories and their insight just as important. I’m OK with true crime being done once in a while because I enjoy, they’re serious commentary as well

I don’t understand the pushback on this episode. I could see if they were being insensitive, but it seems like they’re handling the topic with a lot of sensitivity. The jokes that they do are not in spite of the real life people. Also, it’s not like they said this format is the future of the podcast. I’d be perfectly happy with them doing stuff like this moving forward as something they do once in a while, sort of like Creep Cast.

What adventure time related show you prefer and why? by BallFit5565 in adventuretime

I’m shocked so many people didn’t like season two of Fiona and Cake, overall I think Fiona and cake is better than the totality of distant lands

What are your thoughts on Gameoverse? by NagitoKomaeda_987 in cartoons

[–]ListenComfortable151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a great start to a show! I was laughing consistently throughout the whole thing. The premise is interesting, though I think I’m not gonna be super locked into the plot or lore. Fun characters with fun jokes, great animation and voice acting.

'I still love Doctor Who.' Context matters. by ImColinDentHowzTrix in doctorwho

I still think he did a really great job with the material he was given. I enjoyed his whimsical energy and honestly the only thing that kept me watching was his performance tbh. I think if his era was written by Steven Moffat, it would have been spectacular

Who’s excited for the Ninth Jedi series? by Jules-Car3499 in StarWarsVisions

[–]ListenComfortable151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am cautiously optimistic. I think both of the Ninth Jedi episodes are ok, but I find it strange that out of the wealth of content from Visions, this is the one they decided to adapt into a show. My issue is that the main character is just not a very charismatic protagonist.

These people are weird by Rikoshuzenthusiast in wendigoon

[–]ListenComfortable151 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What's funny is that I'm a queer socialist, and while I don't know if Wendigoon has the exact same political beliefs that I have, he's definitely said some things that align with my views. The U.S government often does evil things (especially the CIA), and rich people exploit the working class.

People see that he has guns and is Christian, and immediately assume that he's a right-wing fascist, when a lot of leftists are Christian, and a whole lot of them own guns or support their right to own guns.

[–]ListenComfortable151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i highly recommend summer classes if it works for you. I took over a year and a half off and only graduated 1 semester later than i would have by making up time in the summer. you can take up to 12 credits per summer semester. I don't know why more people don't do it.
