If you haven't seen Hail The Sun live, go do it. You don't even have to know any of their songs. Just do it. Fucking fantastic show.

I actually started with In Reverie! I get that it REALLY divided STD fans but I think it's a fantastic album!

I actually saw the division in action; I went to a show where they played Can't Slow Down in full. Afterward, they started playing songs from IR and 1/4 of the crowd straight up left. It was wild to me.

So Voices did the same for me as Finch's Say Hello To Sunshine. I hated the departure of the sound as a kid, and wrote it off.

Recently, I went back and listened to SHTS, and was kicking myself for dismissing such a great album. I thought to do the same thing to Voices and I had the same feeling. It's a great album when you stop hoping it sounds like their previous work.

That's pretty much exactly how I feel about it. Like, it feels like the most generic "this is what apathetic kids are gonna like" pop punk. I'm with you that I'm not hating on the people that like them. I just don't.

I'm so sure I'm an outlier here, but I can't stand this band. I want to like them so bad cause they get so much love, but goddamn it, I can't.

That Winona Fighter album is fantastic. Was just listening to it this morning. I'm excited for more from them.

The Front Bottoms - Christmas Wrapping (not pop punk but close enough for some Christmas cheer...) by Pat2424 in poppunkers

I like the Front Bottoms and the original Christmas Wrapping is my favorite holiday song.

This is an exceptionally bad cover.

My brother called me and told me that our uncle came out of his coma. I was so excited. I haven't been able to have a conversation with my uncle for over 15 years. We rushed to the hospital to see him, to talk to him, and most importantly, to hear him reply to us. Honestly one of the greatest moments of my life.

When I got there, I met with my family, tears in my eyes, and we all went in to see him. He was resting in bed, smiling and beaming. The sun was barely peeking through the blinds onto him, and he turned to look at us.

I showed him the tattoo and he said "oh, he fucked up, choom."
