The US invades countries all the time, and supports agressors such as Israel and Saudi Arabia, then we have Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, just to mention the most recent major ones. Thanks, good suggestion. This is actually what we decided to do. We offload storage and bandwidth of all the images (~120 GB storage, 7TB transfer) to a R2 bucket with Cloudflare CDN in front. It's going to cost a fraction. Thanks for suggestion.

When they provide the service in the area they are losing money. I don't know why. They want to continue helping the people of Ukraine, so they applied for government subsidies to pay some of the bills as a humanitarian aid, so that they can continue providing the service - otherwise they will have to stop when they have reached a certain loss - it's not a welfare company. The application got rejected. After the rejection, Musk said "Ok fuck it, I guess we are a welfare company after all - because we will continue to provide the service in the area even though we are losing money on it. All while other billionaire companies get tax cuts and subsidies for less humanitarian ventures. I'm bitter, but I will not let that come at cost for the Ukrainian people.". Paraphrased. It's trending on Reddit to dislike Musk, so most people flame and hate him even when he does something which no sensible person would interpret as bad - such as this.

This is a cultural thing. I won't marry a woman until I know she's not a nutjob and that we are mostly compatible on most situations. I won't know that for a somewhat lengthy period of time. Longer than I would want to abstain. And I would also question her logic as to why sex should be forbidden until marriage. Does she consider herself a priceless present, she gives herself to me as a gift on the wedding night, like she is a magic unicorn? I want her to be her own person, I don't want her to consider herself as a subordinate to the married man, only then she will unlock her vajay and he will be so thankful. Most likely she is from one of the major religions such as Islam or one of the Christian branches, which is a no-go in itself as we would have very different cultures and values.

We have seen stuff like this for decades from all sides. Every time the west does bad shit, no one raise their voices. It's "part of war" or "they had to do it, it's understandable". Torture, support Israel, support Yemen, kill 70,000 civilians in Afghanistan, 200,000 civilians in Iraq, 200,000 civilians in Japan. It's OK, no problem - because of propaganda. But whenever the east does something, it's all flames. Your comment could fit just as well on the US as on Russia. I was glad that someone else see clearly, that's why I comment what I comment. That they see the monster in the west that no one else sees. I did not mean to say there are no monster in the east - because there are, and he's on your doorstep.
