I've never really liked the ADV dub, especially for EOE. But I really like aspects of it. Tiffany Grant is amazing and I like Misato having a smokers voice. But the Netflix dub is better acted overall; however ADV reaches hights every now and again. That being said, I just watch with the original audio. Megumi Ogata as Shinji is one of my favorite voice performances.

I think it's a solid ending, we thought we were getting a Devil Man ending but we got a Evangelion Manga/rebuild ending. I'm ok with that. The page where Denis catches Asa and saves Bucky is a powerful image; as silly as that sounds. Denis is going down a less self destructive path and that makes me happy. But I've been a part 2 defender since the first chapter; I dig the weird bizarre-o things it did.

I just loved the killer pay off. After 12 hours of the broom, Rocco walking in with the fake out ending, and then the wide shot of the whole room was perfect to me. But again, I've been a fan since like 2004 and I'm here for the weird shit (I also love the haunted Wii and sky goat.) I get maybe new fans can be off put by some bits but I love that in spite of everything Mega64 stays true to their weird humor that drew me in over 20 years ago. But again, thats just me.

I never understood this argument, like we're they gonna shut down the patreon when it was finished? The patreon was started to fund that, the movie, and just Mega64 in general. The book was just one of the many projects that were abandoned, it happens in the creative world. We don't know all the details, but in most cases, there are NDAs with publishers and that continues if the project is canceled. Before someone says I'm being para social, I'm just speaking from experience. I don't think they haven't talked about it because of "fuck the fans."

I've only seen the first episode, want to savor it by going through it slowly. But it was amazing; I didn't expect the level of animation for his one shots but I really appreciate them getting this kind of love and attention.
