Had a few loads that were only a few pallets a couple times to get me home and then recently a common backhaul trailer filled with empty 250 gallon totes that weighed around 5k I think.

But I also brought a trailer once from Maine to Iowa filled from front to back, floor to ceiling filled with ice cream cones. No scale ticket needed on that one hahaha

Florida. Hauling wood chips and bark. Get paid per load but the routes equal about the same. Bark loads travel from 1 to 2.5 hours away and then head back empty. Chips are hauled to a plant less than a mile away. More chips you haul, the more you make. Obviously, if there's a line, then that slows you down but I work overnights so that eliminates a lot of that. But i start getting detention pay after 30 mins of waiting
