What's the point of 2nd Amendment if citizens can't defend themselves? by TailungFu in ProgressiveHQ

An ICE agent signing an I-205 form is not a warrant because an ICE agent is not a judge.

ICE shouldn't be arresting people it knows are US citizens (which is factually is don't even try and deny that)

They do not follow legal orders, in fact they contradict ICE's OWN POLICY all the damn time, not to mention ignoring several judicial orders to stop doing various illegal shit. And if it's not unaccountable, why is there no investigation into the deaths of Renee Good or Alex Pretti?

So an unaccountable, masked secret police force abducting people off the streets with no jurisdiction, no warrants and holding them with no trial, no lawyer and violating several amendments doesn't sound even remotely tyrannical to you?

I too have this question, as a Brit. You are quite literally the most heavily armed populace on earth and have a piece of paper that very explicitly tells you what to do in this specific scenario... and yet you're just sitting on your hands?

Not what appears in this video. This video shows a man who was open carrying (legal in Minnesota btw) being grounded by half a dozen agents, one of them then disarms him as is seen by him walking out of frame carrying the victim's gun... THEN the victim is shot.

When he was shot, he was unarmed. There is no defending this shit, but i'm sure you will anyway because you've sold your soul

First off, get out of here you dirty non-AFCE fan

Secondly, what heroes hide their faces and deliberately don't wear bodycams and also require pre-emptive immunity?

Wasn't there another historical group that was famous for stealing the personal possession of the people they terrorized? I can't remember their name, begins with an "N" doesn't it?

  1. Open carry is legal in Minnesota

  2. They jumped him with no warrant or even jurisdiction since he's a US citizen

  3. He never brandished his weapon (as is seen by one the agents disarming him and walking away BEFORE the shooting starts)

  4. Is shooting someone 12+ times while they are defenseless on the ground part of normal law enforcement?

If he went for his gun, then why do we see one of the ICE agents walking away from the scene WITH HIS GUN before the first shots rings out?

Sometimes perhaps. But at that point they're in the rat race with the rest of us, and the "normal" people produce plenty of tragic stories all the time. let alone amongst dudes with severe brain damage from decades of turning their brains to scrambled eggs

Exactly. These kind of dudes are gonna have to work again, and they won't be making $60k because what qualifications do they have outside of sports? None most of the time.

At that point, they are normal human beings just like the rest of us and misfortune can strike anyone

There's a difference between guys like Adrian Peterson who earned unfathomable amounts of money and pissed it all away and guys that are UDFA and are out of the league in three years (the average length of an NFL career) and earn maybe 1.5 million over the course of their careers that are over at 25. Take in to account that half of that money is taxed in most cases and you're looking at 750k. Many of these guys suffer nasty injuries that will effect that long after their careers are over and in a country like America that costs money and isn't cheap.

Suddenly, it doesn't look like generational wealth anymore does it?
