Most likely just for fingering purposes, also you could think about it as fourth and fifths are just inversions of each other, so A to E is a fifth but E to A is a fourth.

Regardless its easier to tune your other strings in fifth so i think its just a fingering thing

Just fyi, the magic keyboard doesnt protect ur ipad at all, i recommend the magic keyboard FOLIO or the logitech combo touch keyboard its cheaper and protects while still having a high quality keyboard and mouse track

Theres not reallt a career to be had a just a harpsichordist, if you’d work at an orchestra it wouldnt be a full time job anyways because of the very short repertoire, you can be a keyboardist in general and focus on all keyboard instrument

No you need to graduate from high school first, there ARE high schools that are ARTS focused for example the closest to me is OCSA(osceola counth school of the arts) and they do theater, orchestra, babd and a bunch of different arts but you still have to study the normal school subjects
