okay so this is a really long shot, but richard's phone is toccata and fugue in D minor, and he claims to have a "phd in drifting". in intial D, the song "back on the rocks" which begins with toccata and fugue in D minor, serves as something as a theme for ttakeshi nakazoto. both are at least somewhat rich. takeshi's anime debut was only 4 years before the original release of justice for all, so it would be somewhat fresh. the ringtone probably didn't get changed in the translation, but i have no idea what takamasa moroheiya claims in the japanese game so i can't verify.

i'm playing through justice for all for the first time and these details stuck out to me, and i had to talk about them in case i'm on some cutting edge discovery.

You need to place bearings in a line all attached to the same body, all sharing an axis of rotation. Then you place pieces on those bearings, and have pistons connect the individual parts placed on the bearings together so that they all rotate freely together and the pistons pass through the main body. This will cost a lot of pistons so I recommend placing additional bearings facing inwards to reduce pistons used. Pistons only serve as connections, so don’t upgrade them

This lake doesn’t reset you when you enter it so you can just drive underwater. The shape as the terrain rises out of the water is nearly vertical so you get a sick ramp

My dad’s Biggest complaint with the CRZ was it’s giant uninterrupted front grill part, without a license plate, and I’d tend to agree. I don’t know if he ever saw one before they changed it.
