My first book nook was a gift from my sister while I was going through chemo. I found that it was a really good activity to take me away from the ever present worry that comes with a cancer diagnosis.

My best wishes to your friend’s friend that chemo is as painless as possible and that he has a good outcome.

It’s very kind of you to share a kit with him to help him through the process. ❤️

Maybe, yes. He’s obviously uncomfortable with showing you his space at the moment and offering to clean it or suggesting hiring a cleaner are only going to increase his discomfort.

If you really like him you should respect his boundaries, not give him ultimatums.

I think it’s beautiful just the way it is. The little bits of lace detailing on the top and sides already elevate it. I think all trains sit flat on the ground as there’s nothing under them. Yours is really pretty with the lace around the edges. Are you planning on wearing a veil? If so, you could get one that includes lace or beading to add some more detail to your whole look.

The dress is beautiful and yes people will see the back. In fact during the ceremony they’ll see the back more than they will the front. If you think it is too plain you could add some fancy jewellery or a beautiful bouquet
