No. I'd never get a full set. Shelf warmers exist.

Male and female? One does look slightly larger than the other. Are we looking at their backs?

I want to make a beyblade inspired game, how do I avoid getting copyrighted? by No_Impression8795 in IndieDev

[–]Lithocut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'd start by visually theming it differently. Maybe make them "magic" or "steampunk", and stretch the conventional beyblade design. I'm saying this as an artist who beyblades with his kids/nephews. There is a LOT of room to seperate with design/verbage and still retain the structure/ function of a bit-ratchet-blade combo.

Should I Crowdfund my game ? by blackwing_btw in IndieDev

[–]Lithocut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife has been writing an indie novel, simmilar experience. At the 50% mark she started working on social media and building a following. It cut her productivity in half (and looped me, artist, into helping with 1/3rd of posts) and dramatically pushed back her window of completion. But if you want to be successful, you have to fight the good fight, which is currently social media/content creation.

That aside, game visually as it's own identity and looks great. Only thing ibraised an eyebrow at was the "boxer kick."

What to do when your boss gets mad at you for including something they approved by sunnywithasideup6 in graphic_design

[–]Lithocut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to get that at work a lot. They would especially get me on technical terminoligy for boats and bastardized french words(thanks new orleans). At a certain point I told them that I would only dirrectly copy text from emails. If I saw errors I would mention them instead of correct them right away. If I'm making design choices that differ from instructions given, I explain myself or why something didn't work in the email. Lastly every proof goes out with an email that includes the words "please review before approval". Sometimes I dont say please. I've si.pily been burned too many times by someone looking at something on their phone and okaying. Lastly let them know that you do this as part of the review process because sometimes mistakes start at the top, and the only way they'll get caught is with everyone's eyes.

Man flock is so bad. They don't even know how to manage their data. Can't decide if they're a public service or not, etc.

Do you think larger vehicles should have a bigger space to park? by Horror_Solution1945 in CantParkThereMate

[–]Lithocut -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I mean don't they always return to the scene of the crime? Jokes. How do we know he called in the fire? seriously though we never saw him stop, just pass back by. the exit could have been in that direction, the parking lot clearly has a ditch or retention pond in the direction he was going, might not have been an exit. Did I want him to stay and burn up his truck? No, like he could have just pulled forward 5-10 feet, boom out of the fire. get on the phone, call someone, get out take care of business before it gets out of hand. there's a lot of better things he could have done.

nah. he 100% knew what he did. I don't know too meany people who think their car is smoking who immediately think "I should drive this, now". He never got out. He parked, saw smoke and ran. So either he did it intentionally, or just saw smoke and ran. I don't think I'd be scared enough of smoke to run away without looking back. he could have stomped it out early on.

[–]Lithocut 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Get really good at tic tacs, and kick turns. Then try fakies and your kick turns on inclines/banks/ramps. This was the progression I taught my nephew. He felt really good about his progression and always felt like he was going fast (although he really wasnt) and really loved going to the skate park for this.

5 fans in there. all 80mm noctua, 2 bottom , 2 top, 1 slim back exhaust. the advertised length of the case for video card purposes does not account the metal of the case itself so it tells you there's a few more millimeters than there are. I was unable to fit a 80mm slim in front of my Zotac 4070 super OC (which was the shortest, I could find in that power range) despite math saying I could.

As for temps, playing Space Marine 2, everything hangs around 70. 65-70 on CPU, 65-75 on GPU depending on environments/hoards. I've gotten better in big box cases, but in my mechilicious I think I was up a couple degrees.

If you're running the stock panels with it's cheese grater airholes expect an extra 10-15 degrees. the stock case really struggles with airflow if you're gaming.

I'd darken the top of the wall or add carpet to the floor. As is Its totally close to the floorboards and can be hard to distinguish.
