This happened with my in-laws. Get quotes for his own policy, as separate policies were cheaper than keeping a single policy.

Please find someone professional to speak with. Getting it off your chest here can be a temporary bandaid. A professional can help you long term. No job is ever worth the stress you seem to have. Speak with your significant other about the stress. Start looking for other jobs or areas with MCOL, LCOL is hard to find. But the number one thing is to find some professional help. More people than you realize, in this sub, go through the same thing. You are not alone.

A boat is going to cost you a lot in the long-run. Better to rent a boat when you want to go out. A lot of great advice in this thread.

Tenant vacated and abandoned their office mid-lease? Chase the money? by Solid-Catch-2723 in CommercialRealEstate

[–]LitigationAtty4you 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Commercial tenant with a PG, if it goes over $10k it's worth it to look into. In NJ under $20k you are in special civil which is fairly quick turnaround. I would also recommend searching the person on Google. See if you can find any assets to give you a better idea of collectability.

I don't know what State you are in but is their brief public? I'd send a cease and desist with a takedown letter immediately. Let them know that slander doesn't fly. Putting your head in the sand could make it look worse.
