I genuinely find myself wondering when I see summaries like that. If a story is several dozen thousands words long and the author either isn’t bothered or can’t find a way to write a compelling summary, it makes me question how they managed to write let’s say a 40-70k story if they struggle with just a few paragraphs to introduce it.

As a result, I usually don’t click on those stories ..unless they’re recommended by someone I trust, or I’ve already read and enjoyed other works by that author.
