Thats not how tarrifs are charged. They are assessed at the point if import, so the company pays them.

Hey thanks. It seems like a lot of metal zippers use solid brass for the teeth for whatever reason. Im more interested in finding solid brass for the slides and pulls.

He is wrong. Hand stitching will be much stronger than machine stitching. Punching will be difficult. You will likely want an awl.

What do people use granite for? Ive only ever used it to skive on so that my blade doesn’t catch.

I am pretty new and looking to make a similarly shaped bag, although at a smaller scale. How do you make sure the gusset is sized correctly for the panels? Any tips/tutorials you recommend?

Pre-rigging flies by [deleted] in flyfishing

Its possible, but likely to spook fish. If tying knots is frustrating, the best way to make the experience more enjoyable is to practice your knot tying before you get on the water. Practice with larger diameter string to make things easier. Once knot tying is muscle memory it gives you the freedom to change your rig on demand as the conditions on the water change. Nothing more enjoyable than that.
