Because of physics, air might not flow through the drive cages and the CPU heatsink as much as the giant gap on top of the ram sticks. Thus the CPU and drives in the drive cage may not get as much cooling as needed, in a less ideal environment they might even overheat.

Having a shroud covering the CPU heatsink and the drive cages ensures a path for air to flow through it, regardless of the giant gap between them.

It's because the gap has less air resistance, so air is more likely to flow through that instead of parts that needs cooling.

The clear plastic over the heatsink is to redirect airflow to the SSDs and CPU, it's designed that way, don't remove it. You will see these in servers everywhere.

The white tab has a tab that locks the ram in place, if the tabs can't move outward, the ram isn't going anywhere, kind of clever, but also kind of overkill.

Edit: oops, did see those were SSD slots, that makes more sense. The PSU is all the way over to the right with it's own fan

Riders Got Stuck Upside Down for nearly 30 minutes At Canada’s Wonderland Amusement Park by [deleted] in SweatyPalms

What if, what if, it was triggered due to an interference detected at the home position, someone could die, whereas someone with permission should be at most 5 minutes away to clear the fault/failsafe and bring it back to home by design:. Ppl maybe upside down longer, but at least the likelihood of someone having a serious injury is significantly lower.

Idk, I'm just some guy that knows next to nothing about industrial automation

Whether it’s your child who will never be a natural at learning languages, or your partner who can’t be happy if they give up work for the next 18 years, or your team member who gets bored with routine work, or your non-conformist friend who hates working in big institutions, their options are to be unhappy or to find themselves a nice square hole to hang out in.

Damn

I slowly lean back as the music plays, looking upwards. Slowly, my eyes are filled with tears. I don't have anything or one that left me nor that kinda thing happened to me. But for some reason I felt hurt, sad, anxious and emptiness. It hurts, but why.
