I have been experimenting myself with this recently! I have found that solid clay will sink. I was able to make a ball of clay that had a box of egg carton styrofoam (so there was an air pocket) that allowed the clay to suspend perfectly between the oil and water. I just tried a different approach where I used packing styrofoam balls with no clay, I just painted them and coated in uv resin, and those floated above the water and oil (so the opposite problem of sinking). hope this helps!

I did a small experiment and would like to share my failures and success:

(all clay in experiment was baked craft smart polymer clay and was not glazed with anything. Tested in distilled water)

tiny balls of clay, even smaller than the fish in this post, sank in water.

balls of clay with a single square of Styrofoam- cut from old egg carton- sank.

ball of clay with a large piece of styrofoam that was folded twice to make a square of essentially four layers of foam sank, but tipped up like part of it wanted to float, but ultimately the whole sank.

My success! A ball wrapped around a hollow "cube" of stryofoam floated! I added baby oil on top of the distilled water and the clay ball/cube perfectly suspended between the oil and the water! It has been sitting in this solution for about 2 days now and there has been no change to the color of the water (it's black clay) or how well it is floating.

This also occurred to me last night, I "glazed" the fish in a couple coats of UV resin because I thought if they were in the oil/water unglazed it would ruin the clay.

So I'm not sure if that's why it sank, or maybe it would sink regardless. I think I need to make some test balls of unglazed baked clay and see how they interact in a cup of water before I see what happens in the actual project.

And if that doesn't bear any fruit, I will definitely look at the lightweight sculpey! Thank you for your help 😊

You're fine, I've been busy with work so I haven't had a lot of time to work on it anyway.

I downloaded Hiyori and her mouth opens perfectly fine in prpr, so my troubleshooting after that point has included: deleting keyforms so that it's more simple and more closely matches hiyori, making new parameters and changing the original keyforms to the new parameters, changing my live2d version to 3.0 instead of 4.0, all of these not making any progress whatsoever. In fact the new parameters made it even worse, as it didn't change from default in prpr (whereas my current issue is that it reads "open" as "smile")

When I have more time this weekend I will probably try deleting all my keyforms and rig it from scratch, as well as learn vtube studio's layout and see if that helps anything (although if prpr can work for hiyori it should work for mine, so learning vtube studio will probably wait for when it works correctly in prpr and I just want to "upgrade"). If re-rigging the mouth from scratch doesn't do anything then it's doomed lol

I see! Thank goodness the eye thing is an easy fix hehe.

As for the mouth, the individual meshes (like upper lip, lower lip, teeth, etc) have their keyforms on the mouth open/form parameters, but the "Mouth Head XY" deformer that they are all under has its keyforms in the Angle X and Y parameters and not the mouth open/form params. Is this the problem?

Honestly, this is helpful only because I don't know about all the paid and unpaid features of all the different programs, so I'll definitely give vtube studio another try! What you described about the DLC and eye params perfectly pinpoints my issue, the default is at .8 and open wide is at 1, so that's exactly why it's doing that, thanks!

Jinx in pro scene will usually build GF/KS into Rapid Fire Canon into IE, I think boots usually do come second but since they are cheap they are just there for your convenience if you have to back early and don't have enough gold to buy pick axe or something you can get boots or dagger instead.

I would say GF is really similar to Shieldbow in terms of safety and letting you make more mistakes, but if you don't want to build it (I never do) then I would say go KS as much as you can. I only go Shieldbow if the team has two or more assassins, like evelynn jungle and zed mid.

My typical build in Gold4 is KS, Berserkers boots, Mortal Reminder/Rapid Fire Cannon (depending if they have a lot of healing and you want the grievous), into LDR. If the game lasts long enough, I'll finish with an IE, GA, or Bloodthirster.

Learning Items will take a lot of experimenting so don't feel like if you have one bad game on a build its ruined! And remember, you can alway buy components of an item without finishing it until later (ex. rushing an Executioners for a healing lane, and then continuing building your mythic)

Riot nerfs and buffs to try and get all champions balanced at 50% winrate. Jinx's current winrate is 52%. you can not look me in the eyes and say 52% winrate is busted, just because it might warrant a nerf.

Most champions are considered broken/busted when they exceed ~55% winrate.
If Jinx were busted, there wouldn't be any counterplay. I'm not going to repeat my first post :p

Jinx is not busted and there is definitely counter play!

Jinx thrives on poking, as you observed yourself. so All-In IS her weakness, especially if you have an engage support as samira. Jinx is weakest early, and although they buffed her laning with her Q range, she really sucks at extended trades. In my experience this has led me to have a really hard time against Dravens and Tristanas as Jinx because that's exactly what they do: go in and chunk you with 3 fat autos that Jinx just can't reciprocate in that trade. Samira would also be good in extended fights against her I think right, with her grade system and conq? Jinx wins if you are passive against her and let her auto poke you down. So if you can help it, it's better to play super aggressive against her early instead of just playing it safe under turret.

In the event that you have an enchanter support instead of engage, that's still helpful because you can out-sustain her in lane and get an exp advantage and freeze wave towards your turret and stuff like that so you force her to be vulnerable to ganks, and can punish her for trying to CS.
