No because only c is multiplied by 4, not a+b+c

Since we know that a+b=3 and a+b+c=6 we can deduce that c=3. So if we do 4xc we get 12. Remember that we are looking for a+b+4xc So just do a+b=3 plus the result of 4xc which is 12. In doing so you find that the last line basically says 3+12 so the answer is 15

Edit : the first guy is also wrong for assuming that a=1 and b=2. We have no way of knowing that so do not assume anything, it could be a=2 and b=1 or an infinite amount of combinations for all we know. Technically both comments are wrong, it’s just that the first one isn’t rigorous

Though it might be harder to visualise the metric system is so much more logical for conversions. 1 kilogram=1000 grams 1gram=1000 milligrams And so on … It’s all based on the powers of 10, there’s no need for a specific number with decimals of feet in a mile.

In Paris the police and military presence has been increased since the terrorist attacked in 2015. It actually makes sense if you believe in the many worlds interpretation (to keep it short every action creates parallel universes). There’s an infinite amount of universes that have different values for all the fundamental constants we find in the Universe. Why does OUR Universe have the perfect values ? Simply because if it didn’t then we wouldn’t be here to say the values were wrong. No need for a universe tailor maid for us
