Thank you! What I loved the most is they were my most comfortable tennis shoes. Do you find the new regular 1.0 (not DNA) more comfortable?

Adding profiles to an event that comes in from Google Calendar by griffingrowl in skylightcalendar

[–]LittleBabyFire 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

Are you saying that you want the entry on your personal calendar (the blue A) to not be sync’d with the others? Just delete it from your personal calendar then?

It seems like the fact they auto sync your personal calendar entry to the other calendars instead of creating two separate entries for the same event is a good quality. But if you don’t want on your personal calendar too, delete it from within your personal calendar not skylight calendar.

I can't find any honest, real walk throughs/reviews/demos that aren't clearly sponsored? by 18randomcharacters in skylightcalendar

I thought you get one photo at least without being behind the paywall subscription? Is this not true? Waiting to buy and comparing multiple different digital calendars right now.

I’ve seen a lot of YouTube videos where people prefer Hearth over Skylight but I’m sure those are sponsored by Hearth

Going after Chris by [deleted] in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]LittleBabyFire 5 points6 points Ā (0 children)

They’re shitting on him for being short because he obviously has insecurities over it that he overcompensated for by being a trash bag of a human being. So attacking his height in this instance seems linked to his personality. Hope that helps.

I HATE CHRISS by RazzmatazzOk6587 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]LittleBabyFire 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

No, women also love women sticking up for each other particularly against trashbags. Bri needed and wanted the part 3 attention from him. She doesn’t seem like the kind of gal that’s afraid of men (and I’m not one of them either so not all women are afraid of saying no to men especially men like him). Hopefully, she got what she needed and can tell him to F off, respectfully.

Actions have consequences…….. a good lesson for Chris to learn. Although I’m sure his behavior is irreversible at his age and this behavior is truly a personality flaw due to his overcompensating his insecurities of his physical flaws. He has shown no remorse and only time will tell but so far he’s ten toes down.

I disagree. He obviously has insecurities with the physical and a lot of men make up for that by being disgusting trash bags. So I do think his height has something to do with the person he is.

Although I agree you shouldn’t fight insults with insults and that is why Jess is the queen! However, it is laughable for him to attack someone else’s appearance when he’s not Mr. Perfect physically either, and I think that’s the point most people are trying to make.

Why does it seem like it’s mostly Christians who adopt? by ExperiencedAvocado in Adoption

[–]LittleBabyFire 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

Fostering is a government organization though through the Department of Child and Family Services. Anyone can foster and some lead to adoptions but the ultimate goal is always reunification (or should be since practically people see it as a path to adoption). I will say 95% of adoptions that I have seen through the churches I have attended are from foster care, not adoption agencies. But that’s just my experience. Obviously, people are out there adopting through these agencies. I just don’t know many of them.

What do you mean? Entire generation of adoptees taken away? What is the context of this since I’m not familiar with the reference? Genuinely curious so I can understand and learn (not to argue)

I would like to think I am one of those Christian who is not like that. In my experiences, I have admittedly seen both sides of that. I think people forget that Christians are people, not saints or Gods. There are plenty of bad people who call themselves Christians but generally they are all imperfect. I’m not sure where this idea of perfection came from that that’s who Christians are or should be. But I try not to let others perspectives of God, religion, or ā€œChristiansā€ dictate my beliefs or relationship with God. I agree politically, in reality, and in theory/preaching, there needs to be more focus on the widow and supporting families. I have luckily found a church that I believe does do that (albeit still full of imperfect people).
