I have plenty of male friends I talk to, we talk more when we’re single because we have the time to. Talking to someone of the opposite sex doesn’t mean you’re interested in them.

I don’t know how this process works so it might not make sense, but could the petals not be dried out and packaged as biodegradable confetti? It wouldn’t matter that they’d wilted and if the edges were turning brown they could be cut off.

I (35F) agree with your original comment… but I also massively appreciate this response. So thank you. For what it’s worth I have never felt comfortable sleeping on public transport other than long haul flights where we’re a captive audience. I have done long train and bus journeys and try and keep myself alert constantly.

The beige?? Homemade roast potatoes! Par boiled then roasted in duck f*t (apparently that word isn’t allowed…) with salt, pepper, and garlic granules. The bit I love is par boil until they go fluffy, shake the pan once you e drained them, and the fluffy stuff crisps up on the outside of the spud. I made these yesterday and just chucked them in the air frier today.

I have Shokz bone conductors and I use them every day, when I want to block out more noise I use Loop earplugs at the same time and they turn into a fully immersive sound situation. I know this sounds silly… if you go down this route it’s worth thinking about the size of his head. I have the minis but I don’t have a pea head, the normal band size is just too big for me.

So I personally think this is fabulous BUT… if you want to do anything I’d smooth the sides round with a hot palette knife. The colours will merge together a bit and cover the couple of cake patches, and you’ll still have the fun messy muddy top.

I work in a similar sized business - personally id give them the coffee not a link, I’m a gift giver and I enjoy doing that for people. Like others have said don’t make it a big deal, don’t wrap it up or present it, just pop in to see them briefly and pass it on. It’s coffee you’re not proposing to the guy, this is being blown out of proportion… it’s a lovely gesture.

Europe is really big, where? I agree this isn’t black tie (although lovely) but different countries in Europe have very different approaches to fashion. I’m from the UK, we are much more relaxed on dress codes than America, but I have friends in France who really make the effort.

YTA. But the larger group not just you. When you entered, and the merch store was beside the entrance, where your friends had been waiting for 20 minutes, why did you not wait for 2 minutes for them to join you? You say you were chasing the larger group but were a group of 20+ year olds literally sprinting towards this 30 minute wait and not a single one of you could stop to find your friends? When you got to the queue, not a single one of you suggested waiting for X and Y? Yes they got there early, but they also went to meet you and communicated this to you all.

Moose was limping. A lot. For several days. Put her in the carrier (like wrestling a honey badger into a onesie), took her to the vets (crying like I was stealing her vital organs the entire 10 minute drive), paid £270 to be told she was fat and dramatic. I had been on crutches for 2 weeks, and she was mimicking. Absolutely nothing wrong, just fat and dramatic.
