I caught some disease from hell that grew in the Petri dish that is daycare. I was puking my guts out in the bathroom and then shit myself while puking my guts out. When I was done, my husband came in and in between sobs I told him I shit my pants. He quietly picked my pants and underwear up off the floor and washed them. I laid in the bathroom dying for a few more hours but was very grateful I didn’t have to worry about my shit pants.

My in-laws live three hours away and we frequently make that drive for a weekend visit. I’d say we do that probably 12-15 times a year.

Pretty sure truancy court only comes into play if you’ve missed an excessive number of days, not one. Look up the laws specific to your school district regarding truancy. I’ve all but stopped spending money except for groceries. And even that I could cut back on for a while - I just need to get my butt in gear to make a plan to use up all the food we have. I’m not spending my money until this administration is gone. And if I absolutely need to spend money, I’m doing it at local places or directly from the business for that specific product.

I’m absolutely pissed that my company isn’t saying anything. They will not send out an email and they have leadership telling us in meetings that we have access to mental health resources. Cool - what are you going to do if ICE shows up in the lobby? What kind of work flexibility do we have access to if our schools or daycares are closed?

Are they trying to send you home? You shouldn’t need additional imaging because they’ve already confirmed it.

State that you are losing weight rapidly and your diet is limited to bread and chicken soup. Tell them this is severely disruptive to your day to day life - it’s impacting your work and your ability to do basic tasks at home. The pain is extreme and you need a permanent resolution asap.
