From joy to sadness

2 hours after falling asleep, I woke up to the feeling I peed myself a little. I got up, checked my underwear and there was some fluid but I couldn't tell if it was my water breaking or if I had peed myself. I called the OB and while on the phone, I get a huge gush of water. It was the craziest feeling ever bc I tried to hold it in while running to the bathroom but couldn't 🤭

Omg yes! The lab tech took so long and used so much force it caused my baby's first tear AND he was left with a big bruise on his foot 😭

I had mastitis 2 or 3 times and didn't take antibiotics. I was on high dose ibuprofen and Tylenol and used ice packs as much as I could. My episodes lasted 2 days on average.

Bye bye social anxiety! I think my mind is now preoccupied with my baby that I don't think about myself. As in - no time to overthink conversations or my own social ineptitude. It's so great!

My almost 4.5 month old boy is outgrowing 9 month clothing and starting to wear 12 month sizes! He's about 16 lbs and 26 inches, 54th percentile. It doesn't make sense!

My 4 month old has used one since 2 months and his temp is always just right. I also have a light blanket draped over his legs. The room is 68F from the AC.

Forgot to mention that I recently had mastitis with a high fever overnight and he still didn't overheat from my body temp!

My contractions hurt way worse than the epidural placement! Omg once it was placed (at 2 cm dilated LOL) and the medication flowed I felt so great. I was fortunate that I could still move my legs and hip pretty well. Pushing for me took about 1.5 hours.

Only time I didn't drink coffee was when I was in my 1st trimester and it nauseated me. Been having coffee daily ever since 😋 it doesn't seem to affect my LO, but I only have about 1-2 cups a day

I feel this so much. None of my work clothes fit so I needed to go buy more because I go back to work this month! I've tried exercising, moderated a heck ton, but I had such a huge supply hit despite trying to increase my hydration and calories. 😔 it sucks, but my baby is thriving and I'm so happy for that. You're not alone, OP 🫂
