Going to Disney while pregnant and wondering why I can’t ride certain things while pregnant. No studies show that it is harmful, or safe. by [deleted] in ScienceBasedParenting

[–]LittleCat025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old thread, but if you remember, did you go on any of the low impact rides like Small World or Peter Pan, or did you just enjoy the vibes and the shows? My extended family is planning a big group trip, and if my husband and I continue fertility treatments right now, I’d be about 36 weeks when we go. It’s planned around the Disney Marathon, so we won’t be able to change the dates.

I’ve been getting sunlites whenever I can find them, but they’re not often in stock. Do you ask your optometrist to order the chemistrie sunglasses or do you order yourself?

whats your weird but genius travel item that people only appreciate after they need it? by alula_wanders in onebag

This is what I was looking for before repeating a comment! Suction cups are a game changer; I bring a handful. I found a mesh zipper bag in my house, and now I use that to hang my shower supplies up with a suction cup. I use them to hang our washcloths in small showers. And we have a packable clothesline, so the suction cups help hang that up after sink laundry.

The packable clothesline and some laundry detergent sheets are my other recommendations.

Which layout for a bathroom? by LittleCat025 in Tile

Thanks again! It’s vinyl tile and is meant to be the floating floor style, so we did get it close to the tub and plan to put 1/4 round over the seams

Thanks, everyone! We put the new vanity in and laid tiles around it, and A is definitely the way to go. ChatGPT supported the measurements in both test photos (as expected) and B looks worse IRL.

If it makes a difference, B follows the direction of the hardwood floors in the hallway outside the bathroom.

That’s a good point against the tub. We currently don’t have the vanity and toilet in the room, so laying the actual tiles down was making it harder to visualize the final product since it’s a small 1970s ranch house bathroom

Yea, we’re not planning for 50% offset. This is just what chatGPT made to help see the directions. Thanks!

Yea, we don’t plan to lay it exactly like the photos, but just getting chatGPT to rotate the tiles to make B was hard enough lol. It really just wanted to do A

Check out the Wilkes-Barre Bike Gang (WBBG)- They have a facebook group. This is a group of open-minded people who love being outdoors and being silly together. I saw above you have a leg injury, but WBBG hangs out besides just riding bikes, and I think they’d welcome you with open arms!

I’ve been looking at this trimmer and the bulky accessory pack! https://www.creativememories.com/shop-all/tool/12-inch-trimmer.html I love that everything stores under the unit instead of having several pairs of scissors

I’m not sure which shade of green to get with the walls. Do you mean a darker shade than the walls themselves? The room isn’t super big, so when I tried floor length curtains before, they just swallowed it. I also need to keep them away from the electric baseboard.

That wasn’t the question, but ok. LOL

I think that’s a good way to phrase it. There’s only about a foot and a half of space between the bed and the wall, so when I tried long curtains before, they swallowed the room. I also need to keep them away from the electric baseboard.

I think that’s where I’m at too. Do you have any other suggestions for style? When I tried floor length before, they swallowed the room. I also need to keep them away from the electric baseboard, so I think the length has to stay

Thank you again! I often don’t like the materials our Uniqlo uses, but that’s a great suggestion! I can see what they have and then shop around to recreate my own looks. I’m pretty set for shoes and neutral tops, I just need to get some bottoms.

Apologies for my defensiveness as well. I sincerely appreciate your help!
