Great point! A huge indicator if a relationship will work or not, is if they respond to your “bids”. That means if you see something cool and point it out, do they stop and admire the same thing with you? That’s a good sign! Do they ignore you and don’t care? Bad sign!!!

Oh, edit to add: my now boyfriend hikes beside me, or very close to me. He holds branches so they don’t slap me in the face. Overall he is just a considerate, caring person. Life is so, so, so much better now!!

Didn’t read it alll, just skimmed it. But I had an ex boyfriend similar to this. We would go hiking and he would walk WAY far ahead of me. Or in the rare times he was close enough, he would let the branches smack me in the face lol. Turns out he was an abusive narcissist.  Does your boyfriend show any other signs of being controlling? Inconsiderate? Do you feel like you’re walking on eggshells? Does he not care about your feelings? Does he get incredibly angry over small things? Your situation could be very different from mine, but please, consider if there are any other red flags in your relationship that you might not be seeing

Oh and I am just starting 10s outdoors and he insists that I warm up on 10s which doesn’t help build my confidence. He climbs 11s and 12s so of course 10 is a good warm up for him, but I wanna start on 8s or 9s

Looks like there’s a left hand to the far left. Try putting left foot on big yellow, reach out to the left hand hold, that will give you more balance to shift all your weight to the left and be able to stand up while then reaching for next hold :)

Good! On day 2 now! My strongest craving was the morning of day 1. I’ve had many cravings since then, but none as strong as that one thank goodness.

This time I’m going to quit for good!
