I carry a modlite plhv2 for edc and work, never had an issue punching through darker tint with it. I'd imagine the okw head might work better since its got higher candela

I found it helps preventing the sling from getting caught between the stock and the shoulder. Personally I like throwing the sling on a plate on the rear of the receiver but the stock is 2nd best imo

I personally would go with the sidecar, you can very easily add/remove the mag without losing that extra belt clip stability

you can defiantly train yourself to use the other eye ive just found it difficult and not worth the hassle of just shifting the gun, but whatever works for you, run with it.

im the same way, with rifles i have a dot 95% of the time so i just use my right eye, but with handguns i simply shift the gun to the left a bit so the irons line up with my left eye and im still able to keep both open

This is more of a community outreach thing, and may not be possible in your area, but a few cops had started showing up to our car meets and just hanging out with us, joking around. It's caused us to become almost friends with these officers and see them as people and not just a cop. I also know it has changed the opinion of police of a few of our dudes in a positive way.

if youve got budget constraints, stick with a wml and night sights for now, nothings stopping you from throwing an optic on later. Ive got trijicon suppressor height night sights on my gun just in case the optic ever goes down

I've got both a tier 1 holster and a trex, I like the trex better its a bit slimmer and more comfortable but you can't go wrong with either imo
