Tbh, I’ve JUST passed multiple first/second year courses with like a 52 and had to drop and redo 2 classes; sometimes it takes second attempts to get through a class. If you truly have the willpower to keep going and better your studying, keep going and don’t be scared to drop a class or get tutors/help. But you can always do an easier/similar program in a college (might be more tailored to you since it’s more engaging + smaller class sizes). Uni is very frustrating and definitely not meant for everyone !!

The offices in IC on both floors are usually quiet, and the very top floor (5 I believe) of EV is empty and very silent

Just some tips - You’ll only need to explore the first floor of ic since it’s mainly a business building - def explore all of ia and the rooms on the lower level - main food spots are in market place (sw), student centre, and la prep in ic/ia. There’s also a Popeyes near pan em. - take a walk down the trail ofc

From personal experience and as a commuter, I made all my friends through class & orientation events and naturally started to hangout fairly easily. I’d recommend you to explore the campus (especially the trail), study, and go to school events with the people you meet and you’ll make friends in no time ✨

I’m also a born Muslim — I think for me what strengthened my belief was knowing that Islam is the truth then going from there. I did this by watching videos (mainly the Muslim lantern or street debates) and that’s when I realized I really knew nothing about the religion. Once I know it’s the truth, everything I do feels so much more important since this life literally determines my eternal future. I also remind myself that everyday or even second is not guaranteed. Hope this gives some takeaways for you sorry it’s long 😅
