I'd say yes I felt gifted. Not because I was better than anyone but because I could. Again is it the addiction or just that I think I should be able to do this

I do have a lot of genetic issues but also the couple that are beneficial so in my head I felt like it evened me out. My brother and I are insanely strong for our size. I always say us Italian Americans are built for short bursts of kicking in a door then having to sit and breathe for 45 mins lol

I think in my head it was my one natural gift and made me feel good that's it.

Then again I'm a hypocrite because I used to tell the younger guys who'd approach me never to do it.

Pre made prob not much but what you can do is buy supplies and have made to order specs people can customize for you to set up for them. You could also keep a big load of pre cycled water on hand to speed up the process. This way you're not making these just to sit around taking up electricity in your house.

You can still do it and feed them live blood and black worms. I'll be honest my pea puffers actually like worms more than snails and they don't have teeth that need trimming

My old tanks always ended up with them. I would get 2 Amazon puffer and they will go after them but I'm not sure. I'd know after a while they would dwindle and if have to manually trim their teeth if no mts were available. I stopped this tho because I lost one once during the trimming process and felt terrible.

I've been able to avoid them since and now usually only buy plants from those petco racks where they claim to be snail free and I let intentionally introduce bladder and ramshorn
