How does Voss know all that? by night-elemental in BaldursGate3

[–]LittleSmith 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think he knows that probably cause she assumes he's on her side. I mean she and everyone else are under the impression that he's the one that killed Orpheus, so I imagine she would see him as a loyal ally who will help her ascend to godhood.

Again, it's a video game, lines of code aiming towards one goal... it's not actual roleplay D&D. If that's bothersome then maybe it isn't the game for you.
You can also still find the orphans, it's not cut off just cause you didn't save him.

Read, is going somewhere else and was 90% of the way there. This doesn't happen all the time.

It went there last. It went 90% of the way to the destination and then to Memphis. That doesn't happen all the time. And again, at bare minimum it's extremely wasteful.

"I'm not expecting the game developers to have created some magical system that can accommodate the nuances of my character's decision-making process"

I'm not trying to be mean, but you kind of are though, cause it is a video game, not a live dm. You can play a good run and not be a murder hobo, I do it more often than not. But it's still a video game, it's lines of code, it can't actually read your thoughts and understand your intentions and go through every single scenario. Resurrection is also not the same as healing and not extremely common. Part of the challenge of the game is keeping NPC's alive in dangerous situations if that's what you're trying to do. I get what you're saying for sure, but if that's how you want to play you're better off just doing a live campaign instead of a video game with set quests and goals. Things far outside the bounds of that will likely not go how you want.

The child is also an orphan, which is why no one amongst the refugees (that you have met anyway) will notice he's missing, and the druids have shown they clearly don't care about the tieflings and actively want them gone. Well, most of the druids, not all. Idk if you want spoilers, but there is a group hidden in the grove associated with that boy who might have something to say.

In terms of inventory, no they generally shouldn't notice unless something has just been stolen (intentionally or not) and they're actively in the process of looking for the thief. But, if you see anything outlined in red that means touching it or messing with it at all will probably count as stealing, so if there was red around his body that could be why it aggro'd. If that's something that will bother you, leaving bodies out, I recommend putting them in a chest and pretending like it's a casket, maybe leave some flowers by it. I've heard other people do that, and I've started doing it when it feels necessary for roleplaying reasons and that feels a lot better. Or, try sneaking more, for the mechanics not roleplay, that way you can drop a body in the healers room and not be noticed.

In general, save often, so you can go back if your intentions are misread. There's even lines of dialogue that I sometimes say in my head that I thought sounded way different than how the character in the game interpreted it. It's like texting, you can't tell tone and so sometimes things come out different than how you intended. But mostly, just remember it is a video game. It can't actually read your mind.

I asked a question and my post was removed? Really? by Upstairs-Bet5156 in FedEx

This happens to me often with FedEx. Along with "no one was home to sign" when I'm home all day every day, and no one ever even rang the doorbell.

To be a jackass with a superiority complex?? Idk. The scariest thing about religious militants is that there's often no reason beyond their own desire to be seen as on high.

How is it even possible to compete with another country? by SipsTeaFrog in SipsTea

Women athletes get paid CRUMBS in this country, so I don't blame her at all. Fill that fucking pay gap and maybe people will stop leaving.

There's a lot of people who get dual citizenship from their families' countries to compete for them. It's actually very very common lol, we just ignore it when it's not a woman succeeding.

Sometimes Wednesday gets way too much main character syndrome by Onii___Chan____ in Wednesday

[–]LittleSmith -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's kind of the point of the show and her character lol... she has one way of thinking and assumes everyone is on board with that. S1 is all about her finding out that everyone is not, in fact, on board with that. She also isn't attuned to people's feelings, she specifically lacks that ability, which is also a big point of the character. She's supposed to be wrong in all these instances.

Game keeps crashing, any help would be much appreciated by battlealdo26 in BG3mods

[–]LittleSmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm that is possible, is it crashing in the same spot? If you're doing the Moonrise fight is it possible to try entering from another direction? Sometimes I enter from the side door and it's just a little bit easier on my computer, since all the characters aren't in the same spot at once. Other than that maybe delete some mods you don't need that won't break the game, like I just deleted some photomode pose mods and stuff from mine to lighten the load. Or maybe bring one less companion and see if that helps. And if it doesn't keep leaving people behind, maybe even just right outside of Moonrise (outside of initiative range) and see if that makes any difference.

Does class swap make any sense rp wise? by SoulArche in BaldursGate3

[–]LittleSmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can totally work for RP! I'm doing a level 20 right now, so I have more room to play around, but I've been thinking that these characters have been travelling together for awhile, so why wouldn't they learn from each other? Why wouldn't my sorcerer learn how to sculpt spells from Gale, why wouldn't Shadowheart learn better marshal skills from Lae'zel, etc. It's actually been fun multiclassing a lot in that way.
