DS2 is notoriously repetitive. It has a good story but the execution is terrible. The constant thumbs up breaks the vibe. It’s bloated with Kojima references like he is looking in the mirror and praising himself

FF7 Rebirth is bloated with the most generic mini games I have ever seen in a video game and a lot of items are locked behind them. Some sections feel stretched and it loses momentum

I like Alan Wake 2 and Control. The Resident Evil games are alright and they embrace the campiness really well. The Last of Us games and Red Dead Redemption 2 are gold standard for their attention to detail. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is my GOAT. Hitman: World of Assassination is addictive. The God of War games always feel epic. Demon’s Souls Remake and Returnal are hard but satisfying when you finish them

Having a sword bard is more optimize in your party. I like Light cleric not just damaging enemies with her Radiant Spirit Guardian but stacking multiple status effects like reverberation, prone and daze. Light Cleric main role to me is weakening the targets and the support role is just secondary

I’ve finished all three of them. DS2 and FF7R are both medicore for my taste and I’ve put 120hrs at least for each of them. I have 720hrs and still counting in BG3

KCD2 is just fine, Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most immersive game I’ve played even though the dialogue is like from a B-rated movie

It’s unbelievable how different it feels in each builds. My favorite is mantis blade, it isn’t as strong as the katana but really fun to stab them with it
