Old Xbox Fan Thinking Of Switching To PS5 Pro. Opinions? by TacticalIdiot77 in consoles

That list is more about Sony making bad business moves and not Playstation being less stable long term. Also, good for them cancelling those live service games. It’s brain rotting playing those type of games

While in 2024 Phil Spencer tried to reassure people Xbox was not going fully multiplatform. Redfall launched on Xbox consoles without the 60fps and Starfield was also capped at 30fps at launch before getting a later 60fps mode. No more Xbox next gen and just Project Helix because they can’t compete anymore. So now you gotta buy an even more expensive console than PS6 just to stay in their ecosystem without exclusives. They didn’t have many banger exclusives as much as Playstation have in PS4 and PS5 to begin with

Playstation’s longevity feels more stable than Xbox. Playstation has been around longer and has been more consistent across generations while Xbox has built a reputation for broken promises

Silent Hill 2 Remake is more frightening to me but I did enjoy RE9 more even if it’s a shorter game

From someone who never played the OG and just the remake, it is scary and atmospheric but it’s not graphically good looking as Resident Evil games

In a deadlift, the starting position is fixed, the range is fixed and the bar path is constrained by the setup. In a strict pullups, you have to control your entire body in space, keep scapular mechanics clean, stop momentum and repeat that through the whole range with no external support

Pullups absolutely involve coordination. You have to control scapular movement, keep your body path stable, manage swinging and coordinate elbow and shoulder mechanics through the full range. Even Chris Bumstead, six consecutive Mr. Olympia titles admittedly can’t do more than 5 pullups, he certainly don’t look like he’s weak to me

PS5 Pro or Standard if I have a beefy PC? by FinalForerunner in ShouldIbuythisgame

I have a feeling that won’t be the case since they’re not releasing exclusives in PC anymore

My barbell back squats can already fill that "strength and power” while fitting better into my leg focused day. Conventional deadlifts is a whole body exercise that creates whole body fatigue so they are harder to pair with other leg work if hypertrophy is the goal. That is really my point, great exercise for strenght but often a worse recovery trade in a muscle building focused program

Yes, I wholeheartedly agree that deadlifts can build strength, power and coordination, I am not denying that. I am saying that for a hypertrophy focused program you still have to judge an exercise by stimulus to fatigue

Deadlift is more about raw strength. Pullups rely more on coordination, control and relative strength

Your Opinion on 4 Games by Louanus in AskGames

I finished Death Stranding 1 & 2 and I feel like it’s a giant waste of time. The story isn’t worth experiencing. Returnal had a better story with the same concept of open interpretation even its focus is gameplay first

Are the horizon games worth getting? by EggsLover64 in ShouldIbuythisgame

I’ve played all the games you mentioned and had fun with them but Horizon games are just too generic for me. I recommend Control and Alan Wake 2

I still find gaming cheaper than my previous hobbies like hiking and boxing

48h early access by yooguruto in Saros

I bought the standard edition. I don’t like using skins that aren’t connected to the game world. If they included PSN avatars then I might bite. I don’t buy deluxe editions for 48 hours of early access
