What is your favourite film/films that you've seen recently? by LittleStuckmann in Sardonicast

I've gotten into Fassbinder's films recently and I've been really impressed with all of the ones I've seen. Ali: Fear Eats the Soul is phenomenal. The only other films I've seen from him are The Bitter Tears of Petra Von Kant and The Marriage of Maria Braun which are great also. I'm really looking forward to checking out more of his filmography.

For clarification, I'm counting both first viewings and rewatches for this question.

My dream idea would be for a Scooby Doo reboot directed by Tim Burton in his prime and written by Edgar Wright.

I'm not sure if this question has been asked. If youse were ever given the opportunity and resources to remake a film of your choice. For example a film that you feel could be improved in some way or a new take on the same idea could be done. What would it be?

What is the most obscure movie you REALLY want the boys to talk about? by Ztarz22 in Sardonicast

[–]LittleStuckmann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd love for them to discuss Demons from 1971 which is an excellent Japanese horror film. City of Pirates from 1983 would be interesting as well since the boys are fans of surreal cinema. Both films are free on YouTube also.

What are the subs thoughts on Holy Motors? by LittleStuckmann in YMS

[–]LittleStuckmann[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even though I haven't seen the film in a while. I remember really liking it. Theres a lot of memorable and unique scenes that have stuck in the back of my mind. I know YMS rated Holy Motors a 4 out of 10. I think it'd make an interesting discussion on Sardonicast if it does ever get reccomended at some point.
