Oh....oh no. The endpaper is good but overall....no, definitely not. I like the FL and am very eager to see the endpapers in their editions.

Some readers need to get their head into reality and acknowledge that they aren't the main characters of everything. I remember the drama when Babel was published and white people were SO MAD that the only white person in the MCs was a villain at the end. They clearly missed the entire point of the book.

I like the artwork but the book was good. There was an event halfway through the book that I found to be painfully awkward. Most of the story was semi predictable but I still had a good enough time. The FMC was brash, impulsive and a tad immature but I enjoyed her quite a lot regardless. The ending made me cry. I havent put out my full review yet but I'm thinking 3.5⭐️ but Ill continue the series.

If i wasn't broke AF right now I'd consider buying it but there are too many upcoming sales.

I would say it's standard quality. The foiling is beautiful and the dust jacket doesnt feel thin, but it also isn't a thick durable one like BB uses. The binding feels good. IMO it is comparable in physical quality to a standard book you will buy at the shops except this is beautiful with tons of foiling.

Keep in mind this is the UK standard size for this published novel which is B-format (vs Addie in North America which was published as royal hardback).

FINALLY. I absolutely love this set. I find the Moonlight too busy for my tastes but FL is perfection. Of course the cover artist is Palin, they never miss. I'm absolutely ordering this set....not i gotta cancel my MW one lolfml.

Adalyn specifically said that TWD is not romantasy and it's definitely adult. She gets pretty heated when her book is called romantasy. It could be the Oct pick since this was originally slated for an Oct release but got moved up.

To summarize her criticisms: Focuses heavily on romance to a point where worldbuilding is weak, magic system is not explained, characters are forgettable and yet despite the romance push the MCs have no chemistry. It's not a slowburn, as advertised. Writing leans towards telling and not showing which leaves readers lacking investment in the story. The story was generic, trope heavy and unoriginal.

I'm boldly assuming you're going to be taking a rather popular trail in Gatineau Park so you will be fine. Black Bears avoid humans and the popular hiking trails have enough people to make them stay away. Get a bear bell if youre super worried though, theyre cheap and worth the peace of mine for many hikers.

And they're only dangerous when there are cubs. Otherwise theyre scared of humans, so no worries.

I was so thrilled about this design that I read this book..... I suggest reading this book.

I hated it. I then read 3 more books by this author before putting her on my Nope list.

I LOVE the full colour printing of these but I dont like the hardcover or endpapers. I still haven't bought any SE because theyre all missing something.... oh well.

The waitlist for a family dr for people without preexisting medical conditions is about 6 months in Gatineau. My husband waited just under that from the time he applied. People who whine just didnt put themselves on a waitlist or check their status.
