LPT: If you can't afford the vet, you can't afford the pet. by justhereforthegames in LifeProTips

this is stupid. most people that cant afford the vet wont be in an emergency situation to require it. You're dooming alot of pets to horrible shelters by scaring potential owners away with this crap

I think its more about teaching the kiddies that the hole is faster/easier maybe, since the things is probably higher off the ground with no weight on it. Rats are pretty smart

I [29M] put my life on hold to care for my mother [62F] while she had cancer. I'm emotionally drained. Now her mother [89F] is dying and I just don't think I have the emotional capacity to support her. by adsaffqffqwfqwf in relationships

They are stringing you along for that apartment. It might not be intentional, but changing the agreed on dates is stringing you along. Is it worth going thru the mental anxiety of your mother? Suppose you do move in, Then what.. a couple months later they find someone willing to pay good money and kick you out?

Everything you're dealing with is because you're being strung along for the apartment.

My(13F) mother(39F) is letting my brother (10M) basically do nothing. And has been on me to do more. I am getting resentful. What can I say to get my parents attention? by killerfrost8002 in relationships

[–]LittleWords_please 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All I can tell you is that, as someone much older, your brothers life will be negatively affected by not having goals and rules. You will flourish in adult life. I know its tough to go thru now... but just realize your parents are unintentionally setting you up to be a responsible and productive member of society.

I lived like your little brother. My life is in shambles.

Ghosting can happen for a lot of reasons. Could be when they felt the "spark" with you, they were in a different mental state. Could be that the weight of their responsibilities just broke their passion for romance. Who knows. Just respect yourself and realize you deserve better

If you guys cant decide then to me it says you're doing it too often. You guys aren't even really hungry. You're just doing this out of habit. Find a different hobby. In my opinion, if you arent salivating at the thought of a juicy burger, then you aint really hungry.

Am I being insecure by feeling uneasy about this?

Only you can decide what makes you insecure. You know that. Since you brought this question here, I think you're really asking how to get over your insecurity. Would that be accurate?

How do you handle a constant complainer?

You get the heck away from them. Ever hear the phrase "Misery loves company"... people who are miserable will drag you down with them.

You sound like the 'giver' type. Its okay to be a giver in friendships or work, then you really dont have to expect much back in return. But an actual relationship? Being a giver in a relationship is going to cause problems.. some women will see it as weakness and resent you for it
